I love the fact that the overall majority of members are great, but there are a few a-holes that can start an argument out of nothing.

The people are great, the mods rocks the forum software is million years faster than previous incarnations but for me the best thing about dakka is that it evolved much more than other generic wargamming forums... it evolved to a place were GW / PP / FOW / INFINITY and all the emergent new systems are debated and explored without the seal of censorship of GW fanbois... No other dedicated to one system or race forum can compete with this and the other generic forums all evolved to a GW kiss ass crowd so yes Dakka is the best place for fantasy related wargamming.

I like my Dakka with all the people on board and all games in equal doses of importance.

I've been a long, long, long time lurker and was on the old site, everyones nice, your typical wargaming forum really.

Some people are a little 'report' happy on here I've noticed.

Dakka is great. Has hooked me back into wargaming too much, though.

Dakka is the best general wargaming forum I've ever been on. Tons of great posters, great mods, great galleries, easy to use, Dakka is just fine by me! The only forum that gets even close to the attention that I spend on Dakka is the official BF FoW forums. If I want info on any other game Dakka is the first place I head.

Dakka has really been a great introduction to modeling and the 40k universe for me. The painting and modeling sections are an invaluable tool and have really helped me improve my abilities by going through and trying out some of the techniques. The gallery has given me some great inspiration as well. The background section is really helpful got getting a grasp on a wide range of background information relatively quickly. The lay out is exceptional and the community is generally very helpful and encouraging.

My only complaint, most of the time, is that it keeps me distracted for hours on end when I should be doing homework. Wait, did I say complaint? Scratch that...

Yeah, I requested to be banned when I kept going on Dakka instead of doing my Uni assessments...

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. As I'm a DCM, I'm obviously pretty biased, but Dakka on the whole is probably the best online community I've ever really been a part of.

The only thing I'd fix is that search is generally broken, but working search is hardly something only Dakka struggles with. I just do google searches on Dakka instead.

Dakka is spot on in my opinion! nice and easy to use and navigate, color choics aren't hard on the eyes (even if some avatars are!) the content is great and easily found and everyone is very nice to me!

Dakka Dakka is an excellent place to learn more about the games we play! Everyone on here is awesome (except for those random buttheads...) and will help ya out whenever needed! The site is easily navigated and loaded with more content you can shake a Grot at!

Been here since I started, not going anywhere either!

I LOVE DAKKADAKKA!

It's such an entertaining place with a warm community, which can turn humorously cold when that flame thread rolls around

To be honest, it's the one of the sole reasons I use the internet. (other than watching Nostalgia critic and looking at Nerfnow and Modest Medusa, but that ain't important )

To bad it's blocked on my school's computer system. If someone could provide me with a trick with using blocked websites that would be fantastic! As I miss view the hilarity from school I got nothing to do.

That's Dakka in a nutshell. Crazy, brilliant, and more threads about Blaming the victim than one needs, really.

There is always someone who is wrong on this forum, and that’s good because then you get to correct them.

Sometimes it's a mod, but that’s ok because then it's challenge.

And if it is too daunting a task then you can just sit back and watch on of the regulars go at it like a bull in a china shop.
