After that, however... Iron Within, Iron Without.
Though I've also got some Grey Knights from a couple years back, a small Sisters of Battle army, a Tau army, an Eldar army, and Tyranids.

I started with Orks 12 months ago and they are still my main and favourite army. They're fun to play and fun to paint. And it's fun coming up with looted vehicle ideas.
Second favourite would be Necrons, although I am waiting for the new Codex before I expand beyond my 1500pt force of mainly Warriors.
I also have some Space Wolves and regular Space Marines. I like the look of the Space Wolves and i'm only just starting the Space Marines.

They Are kinda of like them, but no they are Storm Crusaders, which are very close to the Black Templars.

I think it would be awesome to start an Angry Marine force, using thier *unique* `Codex`. Yeah they would probably be the greatest CC army.
My awesomeness factor is warring wé my logic as to whether or not it`s worth hundreds of dollars for a joke, but an awesome joke, that could be used as an actual army...

Eldar seems to consistently be the most played, despite the learning curve and datedness.
Also, forgot to state my army. Now Death Guard, mainl because I have almost 2000 points of them alone now (which grew from a single squad of PMs) and they totally wiped the floor with my friend's Imperial Guard.

I answered space marines cause my salamanders are my only playable army atm. However, my Tau army is under way, and is probably going to be my main army. Considering the number of options, and that we are only (currently) at around 100 people, its not surprising the poll is skewed. We will need quite a few votes (>300) in order for it to show truly.

Yes, eldar are awesome and i play them, however they are hardly in the lead.
All the different colors of marine are listed, wait i mean chapters of marines. Marines, not including the chaos variety, are 25% of the poll.

I play both Dark Eldar and Vanilla Marines commonly. I went with Vanilla marines only because they were my first army. heh.

I don't have a "main" army.
I own every army (minus Chaos Space Marines and Chaos Daemons) in the neighbourhood of 2.500 points and up.
But none of them are a "main" army. You see, I codex hop.
I don't necessarily jump to the latest codex, but I certainly jump after 4-6 games. I am kinda like a butterfly that way....I flutter about.
I revived my Tyranids when the codex came out. The same with Dark Eldar, but I didn't feel the need to play neither Space Wolves or Blood Angels, nor Grey Knights now that they are out.
I think I'll use my Orks for the next few games and I feel a Necron-urge creeping up on me.

My main army is currently SMs, in the past it has been orks (mostly shelved) followed by sisters (whom I gave to GF). Also have 1750 of daemons, DE, and GKs. Used to have a small guard force to supplement my DH and WH, but sold them to a friend who was starting guard.

If I were to pick, i'd choose the Imperial Guard. Tons of options to tinker with, and look great when they're all deployed on the battlefield!
