Yes, it is.

There supposedly (though it's been alleged as being an april's fools) is a free for all DLC which basically is the ability for everybody to play orks in multiplayer with the freebooters skin of the retribution campaign.

That said along this (or these) DLCs, today comes out a standard patch that, among other things, releases new wargear for The Last Stand, 2 per commander and each tied to che completion of an achievement. From what I saw they don't seem too hard to complete, though they will mostly require multiple runs

There's no real characters, just a planet that is of some value and everybody fights for it. That's pretty much the norm for 40k storylines, but don't play it up to be better than it is. The story in DoW2 all the way up through Retribution is fairly good, and has actual characters at the center of it.

I hope we get some alternate CSM doo-dads. It would be a shame to just see more SM after this like a SW pack, a BT, pack, BA pack, and so on.

Dc was THERE IS ONLY WAR. It was as true to the TT as possible.

Each race has their own story and plans , the Characters were mostly good and the Wargear system was nice. The game lacked any bad characters like some of the other games did , while SS has some of the worst characters in the series.

Well yeah, Soulstorm was a laugh. The amount of unintentional comedy in that game is astounding. I just can't give the story a pass in Dark Crusade since for whatever reason the Space Marines and Imperial Guard are fighting against each other. I know they explain it throughout the game, but it always seemed so hokey. DoWII: Retribution handles it a lot better.

I remember the Warlocks voices in the Eldar Stronghold mission , they sound ridiculous. Carron the Alpha Legion lord also sucked and was extremly anoying while Force Commander Boreale probaly was the most stupid characters of the DOW Series.

If Boreale wasn't such an idiot, I wouldn't have made four Dawn of Awesome cartoons.

Thats the only good thing about Soul Storm , it ment the Dawn of Awesome Cartoons were made.

Aside from it having better gameplay and more variety than the previous DoW1 titles, at any rate.

One thing I hated about soulstorm was that the air vehicles were underscaled and hovered.

it just seemed to silly for me.

I have recently gotten into the dawn of war 2 game. haven't gotten chaos rising yet but hope too soon. along with retribution in time. but there isn't IG in the first dawn of war 2.

IG is in Retribution.
