That's a nice combo.

But not two lists, nor does that have the ability to take down the vehicles that all these guys are doubtlessly in.

Speaking of JoTWW combos, a teammate of mine for the ATC runs Wolves and although he's not running Arjac in the ATC, often uses him to throw the hammer, reduce his enemy to Initiative 1, then hit em with Jaws. Can take out a lot of things you might otherwise not be able to (Avatar of Khaine, Hive Tyrant, etc.) with Jaws.

Hmm...How about slogging IG and slogging Orks?

How many Conscripts can you fit into a 1000 point list?

Add in the following Gretchin list:

Alright...

Let's try 29x3 with 2 Runtherds per squad- 107 points.

Multiply by 6.

642 points.

Add in KFF Big Mek- 85 points

727 points.

Drop in 9 Kannons (3 units of 3 each)- 180 points
Reinforce each unit with a Runtherd and spread out 18 grots to each unit and 1 ammo runt each.

Bam- 1000 points on the nose for this army:

HQ- KFF Big Mek
Troop-
29 Gretchin, 2 Runtherds
29 Gretchin, 2 Runtherds
29 Gretchin, 2 Runtherds
29 Gretchin, 2 Runtherds
29 Gretchin, 2 Runtherds
29 Gretchin, 2 Runtherds
Heavy Support-
3 Kannons, 6 Additional Crew, 1 Runtherd, 1 Ammo Runt
3 Kannons, 6 Additional Crew, 1 Runtherd, 1 Ammo Runt
3 Kannons, 6 Additional Crew, 1 Runtherd, 1 Ammo Runt

That's over 200 bodies in a 1000 point list.

This.

That trick doesn't work, and it didn't even need an FAQ.

Mine would be Slaanesh Deamons and Space Wolves.

On the Daemon side.

1. Pavane = Does something similar to the LoS without worry of a psykic test. You want models to be moved, this is the way to do it.
2. An all fleet of foot, mobile army.
3. High Init. The average is Init 6
4. Rending - A way to get into the squishy bits that lies within a vehicle.
5. Lot of models for a Daemon Army - 100 daemonettes in a 1500 point army means serous problems to your opponents.
6. The Cool Factor - A pure Juan Diaz Slaanesh Army is something awesome.l

On the Space Wolves side.

1. Long Fangs - need I say more
2. Razor Spam - (I like to slow cook my spam with pineapple and brown sugar).
3. Other Massive amounts of firepower. (Dreads, Plasma, metlas, etc.)
4. Drop pods - So they can get close to melt your face off with assorted nasty weaponry.
5. The Cool Factor - They are angrier than the Angry Marines, and Manlier than the Manly Marines.

Adam's Motto: Paint, Create, Play, but above all, have fun. -and for something silly below-

"We are the Ultramodrines, And We Shall Fear No Trolls. bear this USR with pride".

Also, how does one apply to be a member of the Ultramodrines? Are harsh trials involved, ones that would test my faith as a wargamer and resolve as a geek?

You must recite every rule of Dakka Dakka. BACKWARDS.

Sathonyx + Nob Bikers would be nasty. So would KFF'ed Ravagers.

Nastiest army combo, though, has to be Nids and Tau. Tau bring the HS and Elites (Broadsides and Fireknives), Nids bring the Fast Attack and Troops (Gargoyles and...anything but Rippers, really).

While not nearly as terrifying as some of the other suggestions, a great shooty and themed team list would be Tau and Henchmen GK. By modelling all the henchmen as Guevesa and adding Jokaero into the mix, it really adds to the feel of an empire of alien races.

I would also like to see how markerlighting for those monkey lascannons would work out.

Definitely a lot of good combinations there. How about tau heavy support and elite with Orks fast attack and troops. along with kff. (just a thought dont know how well it would work.)

Add GK libby to 30 'ard boyz and give them might of titan and hammerhand. Most other powers will do, too.

Profit.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I'm thinking Orks and Guard. KFF and cheap, choppy bubblewrap for a parking lot or more bodies than anyone could ever hope to kill in a single game - could easily play it either way and be deadly.

Unfortunately, Markerlights specifically only work for Tau units (for example, Kroot and Vespids w/o a Strain Leader can't use them).

Does the team tournament you are playing in give one FOC to each player, or do the players each share one FOC?

Regardless, nurgle marines and nurgle daemons with epidemius is always a strong combo.

Around 100 FNP Furious charge guardsmen

This sounds disgusting, and probably pretty effective. However, if you allow Forgeworld Codecies, then Death Korps of Kreig can do FNP guardsmen. No Furious Charge, but power fists and twice as many attacks.

I also think IG and BA, but with IG taking mainly Vendettas and Hydras, while the BA takes fast assault units. IG long-ranged firepower is unparalleled, especially for the cost. BA have the manoeuverability and enough CC prowess to respond to threats and attack weak points.

In my FLGS, we've been doing a team league very similar, but without sharing powers. I've been teamed up with Dark Eldar to fantatic effect so far. DE can take on most everything between disintegrators, dark lances, and blasters for heavy targets. Massed splinter fire takes care of light infantry and MCs. My guard have a couple blobs to eat CC units, or at least speedbump (in the case of the thunderwolf cav that laughed at S3), plus Vendettas and mobile plasma and melta. Lots of mobility and firepower from him, less mobility but more staying power on my side.

The one I am in is a little different. 2000 pts a team, 1000 pts a person, each has their own FoC. My BA are built for long range shooting, while we have orks for CC.

Hmmmm, IG and IG = 6x deathstike. Fill in with blobs and I guarantee every game will at least be filled with carnage.

If you have split FOCs, it's worth considering spamming something more than is usually possible. 18 Oblits? 6 Monoliths? 6 dreadnights?

Also there is an Epediemus + plague marine combo.

Lash Space marines combined with Dark Eldar. Can anyone say first turn charges into your ranks? This could potentially replace leafblower if you could run this tandem.

All raiders move up 12 and disembark their wyches/incubi. They Fleet forward. You lash 2 of the enemy units into range and blam. 2 units down on turn 1. You can pop the vehicles with oblits or lances from the dark eldar.

This combo would hurt.

Dark Eldar don't need lash Chaos to get first turn assaults, we can do that just fine on our own.

NECRONS and DEATHGUARD.

2 Destroyer lords w/ warscythes flying around w/ 2 T6 Deamon Princes w/ warptime.......

Then Rhinos w/ plague marines running up to meet the deepstriking mono's

result: the scariest charging group of 4 units i can think of

and a feth ton of MEQ that roll 3+ then 4+'s

soooo good

Can't beat Necrons w/ CSM?

Take 2 squads of Nurgle possesed Swooping hawks and haywire both Monoliths turn 1.

Can't fail. Then charge nightbringer with a possesed Lysander w/ MoN.

Just got to think outside the box bro.

I feel an honorable mention should be grey knights\servo skull spam and Lash\oblits. having almost 100% accurate blasts is kinda terrifying but it still relies on pyskers. Also same GK list with IG blast template spam. 3x basalisks, vets with democharges meltas in valk with rocket pods

Also I like the idea of blood angels with IG blog sqauds. IG blogs with near by priests is kinda awesome.
