Well, since I just started I won´t expand in other armies any time soon, but I guess my first expansions would be Trollbloods and/or Cygnar.

But as I said, I just started and allready have two armies (Circle and Protectorate).

As for armies I wouldn´t play, well I guess Legion of Everblight (ok Warbeasts, but I hate the Nyss infantry) or Retribution of Scyrah (ok infantry, but I hate the Myrmidons).

I'm finishing up my 35pt Skorne list right now and I'm going to be doing Legion of Everblight next... the last two armies i've painted have been the same color scheme (skorne and Blood angels for 40k) and its time for me to get some green and blue in there.

I will probably never touch Trollbloods.. the fluff is great..but I just don't like trolls in general...now if they were Orkbloods......

The MHSF isn't anymore cheesy than any other Armies good combinations. It just takes a different approach to matters rather than the more conventional ones.

I play Cygnar.

I will never play with a Menoth OR Khador force.

Just don't like the style of them.
Either the more pious than thou Menites or the more brutal than you khador.
(I have biases against the overtly religious-looking and the "Russian" inspired forces. I won't play with Vostroyans in 40k, either, or Russians in FoW).

Oh, and I'm sticking with METAL units, none of this newfangled plastic WM stuff for me.

Pity, the plastic jack for khador at least is a huge improvement IMO

Hmmm there is little chance of me playing menites I think , I probably would have played the Whole WM faction before playing menites.... that could change though.

And Of course I have changed my mind, I could play Skorne, it would probably be infantry heavy

Trollbloods look too goofy for me, I'm not a fan of the weird proportions on all the models.

Menoth have the religious crazy thing going on...

Cygnar is Privateer Press' poster boy faction. Skip.

I like elements of all the other factions, though. If I ever get lucky and happen to win the lottery, I'll get myself to the game store and make some purchases.

I'll never touch Ret though, intense dislike of Elves and the models...

Khador , all of the following words in Khador have the same meaning

Big = Good
Axe = Bombard, Chainsaw, Fist, Club, Gun, Lance, Hammer if used with "TO FACE"
I love my Khador to death

I would probably go into either Cryx or Ret next, after seeing Wrath casters, whoever run warjack better would be my next caster. Seeing Menoth models on the other hand convinces me I would be more interested in torturing baby four armed elephant than converting into a Pyromaniac religion

Skorne! I like them a lot. I may eventually go back to Khador too.

Pirates also look fun, so many named characters.

I'd probably go Circle, would never go Legion.

Currently play Cryx as main, Khador and Gators as secondary.

Mercs just seem not cool to me, nothing personal and no offense intended, just don't like 'em!

I haven't made up my mind yet, but I am leaning towards Circle or maybe Legion. I don't think I would ever play Menoth, Khador, or Skorne.

I just can't stand Skorne models. They're..hideous to me.

I currently run Protectorate (ALOT), Skorne (Some), and Retribution (a little bit). I kind of look at each caster, rather than the faction as a whole. For instance, I am a Menite through and through, but I have no use for Vindictus or pFeora. I have a good representation of Skorne, but Rasheth, Zaal, and Mordikaar do nothing for me. And as for the elves, only Rahn and Vyros will I ever play. I go completely on look, as far as a new faction.
I probably can safely say that I will never play Minions or Mercs (aside from Searforge), or Probably Cryx. I like a more militant theme to my lists, so the fast and loose is out.

I play Cryx, I might think about getting the protectorate battlebox... That would be my 2nd choice regarding warmachine. Also, I would think about expanding with Skorne.

Just about to kick off with Khador (pVlad) and will never touch Cryx with a ten foot stick.

I would like to get a force of farrows for Hordes if it's possible to play a pure minions force for Hordes? Purely for the way they look.

Faction I would never play? Retribution of Scyrah. I don't like elves and they look stupid.

I am looking into getting a Hordes faction and am considering Legion or Skorne. I agree that the Retribution myrmidons are terrible looking. They were going for sleek and elegant and ended up looking weak and spindly. What's with their tiny hands?

I probably won't ever play Menoth or Khador. None of the Khador infantry appeal to me aside from Widowmakers, and I don't like most of the Menoth Jacks(and only like the Exemplars and Pallies for Inf/Solos).

As for which I'd expand into, that's a hard choice. I've already got Minions, Mercs, Cryx, and Legion, as well as a small start on Cygnar. Maybe Skorne(Sblood for the sblood god!).

@ Hindenburg: Yes, it is possible to play a pure minion list for hordes. And now is a GREAT time for the farrow. They are getting more new minis than about any other faction, for the moment.

Farrow also have models that 'cover all the bases' in terms of creating balanced, combined-arms forces. They're slightly weak on shooting, but they have some pretty significant melee and good staying power albeit on a slightly slow faction.

Harder to do with Gators as they really, really lack any significant heavy hitters. Gator P&S pretty much maxes out at 17+2 dice or boosts. Gators also have relatively few boxes, and while they enjoy a better than average Armor stat, it's not high enough to truly offset their survivability.

If Gators and Farrow could share the same core list they could be pretty scary. As it is I'd say Farrow are the more fleshed out Minions faction.
