Lots of strong reasons to go Alpha Legion, but, as i said in an earlier, similar thread (something about which chaos god would you choose), i think i'd have to go World Eaters.
Best thing about Khorne-based legions is that they aren't a bunch of ugly scrubs. Maybe, due to their martial honor, they actually take care of themselves and their equipment (like me), which is why I paint my World Eaters CSM like impeccably appointed SM.

Troops they use (why?): Plague Marines, Summoned Plague Bearers/Great Unclean Ones/Beasts of Nurgle, Devastators, Bikes, No Raptors, Defilers, Obliterators, etc.

Couldn't have phrased it better myself. TS have that Ancient Egyptian aesthetic going, but Night Lords definitely take the cake for coolest Legion (at least IMO)
