List looks a lot better IMO. Still needs a few tweaks

My suggestions are as follows

Drop the bosspole on the warboss. I'm assuming he'll be in one of the boyz mobs, and the nobs already have one, so its pretty redundant

If you drop the eavy armor on the mek as well as the ard boyz upgrade on the shootas you can fit in another kan unit with rokkits. I would even consider dropping the boss completely to make a true kan wall list, as at 1000 pts I find them hard to deal with when they're played well

Here's the deal with 'Ard Boyz: They save one-half of AP 5 or 6 wounds; they cost two-thirds of the price of another Ork. I shouldn't have to go on, but I will.

Take a AP-4 or better wound, and you've just lost a ten-point model as easily as you would have lost a six-point model. Do you see much AP-4 or better weaponry? You should, it's pretty common.

Ditch the 'Ard Boyz and play more boyz.

Think i should get rid of the warboss for more kans? im not really runnin a kan wall im just using the kans for taking out tanks mostly and giving a little cover


Ok ima drop the boss, but have 15 ard boyz(shootas) so that will give me some more points for kans.

But the ard boyz are good for dealing with other troops and infantry but kinda a waste of points against tanks, i only play 1000 point games so thier isnt a huge amount of tanks and stuff.

So I might maby drop the ard boyz too for just shoota boyz

Thats a decent list alright. It is kinda lacking in Nobz, but, nevermind. I think 2 squads of 2 kans, along with a second big mek w. KFFmight work a bit better than that however. Plus, you'll have less range to worry about for the KFF's

Don't forget that the Warboss lets you take Nobz as a troop choice, which can be used for objectives instead of the Gretchin. I've done this before and it worked out well -- just some more food for thought.


Also, you can drop the 'eavy on the Big Mek, there's plenty of boyz to keep him protected, 85 points for Big Mek with KFF is probably one of the most cost effective HQ's in the game. Also, you may wanna run all your boyz as shoota boyz since you're footsloggin' it. Slugga boyz are better in mech lists.

One other tweak you should consider, is dropping the Gretchin, and taking 2 more lootas and splitting them into 2 groups of 5. This avoids leadership problems and increases your target saturation by quite a bit.

Anyone who thinks ard boys is a better idea than more boys doesn't know what they are doing. Simple as that. There I said it.

I love slash hate the defkopta I mostly play BA. But have a small ork army. Bombs and saw thing ( power fist ) the bombs work well on most troops and a power fist on a jet bike is a power fist on a dam jet bike. What's not to like trubo drop bombs then go kill somthing shiney
