I encourage you to take your own advice and to re-read what was said. I asked you to lose the attitude, you asked why, and I told you that it's against the rules to post as I described.

Please explain how talking is against the rules? I will end the conversation stating the conversation was on track and fine until you started flexing your internet muscles and explaining to every what was what and how they should act on the site including telling me to lose the attitude.

Implying that I said your opinion is against the rules is completely baseless, and simply suggests that in fact you are the one clutching at straws by ignoring what I said.

apparently in your world everything posted is against the rules.... maybe teenage angst wasn't too far off...................

Gentlemen, please realize that you're simply talking past one another. I have great confidence that you both actually have a lot of useful things to offer here and there is no need to get worked up. Thanks!

Talking isn't. Dragging the thread off-topic for a conversation that, if it needed to happen at all, should have occured via PM, is.

So how about both of you quite waving you e-peens around and let the thread settle back onto the actual topic. And try to remember that sometimes people will have an opinion that is different to their own. Holding to that opinion doesn't necessarily mean that they have an 'attitude' or that they are trolling. Let's keep it civil, folks.

Thanks for the info, by the way. once i get superglue, i will clip off the burst cannon, and add a fb on my battlesuit. Good thing you suggested something that i have! (also, with meq coming out every other release, i can't really deny good anti-meq)

edit: also, how should i outfit my stealth marker teams? unless i used the unreliable marker drones, i would only have one markerlight per team. is this enough? should i go with marker drones anyway?

My stealth marker teams follow the following formula:

3 stealth suits, with drone controllers on each.

4 gun drones, spread amongst the stealth suits

2 marker drones, spread on one suit each, with one left over that only has 2 gun drones, or both marker drones on one suit. Depends on how much fire you take as to how you want to spread.

I will occasionally add more stealth suits with gun drones, but never more than 2 marker drones. I also normally run two team so said stealth marker teams.

With the new tau FAQ, you can always upgrade one suit to a 'vre and give him a markerlight if you so wished, and add a multi-tracker, though you probably shouldn't bother with both, there are few targets you would toss a marker on that you can't use and then shoot with your burst cannon.

Now that were back on topic of Tau tactics I actually have a question here for you guys. Most everybody has no love for the Fire Warrior, mostly b/c it cost 10 points, die easily in combat, or die relatively easy from shooting than just run away. But, has anybody thought of trying a blob of FW rush where you mass FW teams. just basic 12 units with no upgrades, equip them all with a dumbfish devil fish, and then proceed to rush the enemy army and drop them all off and Rapid Fire them to death? or equip them all with Carbines and pin all of the enemies units in a mad rush of shooting? I feel like the basic FW cost to much to be able to do this, and you would have to do this in low point matches, probably no more than 1650. But b/c the Fire Warrior cost 10 points and the match size point value is small you would be unable to make the tactic work? Thats my thinking on it, but I am not sure if that is how everyone else feels. Does anyone else think you could be able to rush the opponent with FW and pin them all or rapid fire them to death? I feel like it probably would not work, but maybe I am wrong?
