Well i usually get advanced news being an ILR, but i've heard zilch so far. Excited though.

Totally agreed. Plastic Scourges were somewhat confirmed way back in the Succubus release, there was a note on the Succubus concept art saying something along the lines of: will be compatible with plastic Warriors, Wyches, and Scourges.

how come they cant just release the entire codex line of models in 1 go? im tired of waiting dangnabit! i wanna get fighters, haemonculus stuff, talos, venoms.... ya know. so i can model anything from the dex. and a re release of the wwp would kick ass.

My friend saw some pictures of parts of them and he collects dark eldar. And he thinks that it are scourges and grotesques. I think the same. Ofcourse, only because he says ;-)

I'm hoping to see if there will be Wracks or Scourges as these could be awesome models , I'm not bothered about the Venom cause I've seen some amazing conversions on Dakka using several different kits.

From a money standpoint, people usually spend their "budget" on the first wave of models, and then by the time the second wave comes out, they want to buy those models too and do.

The alternative is if all the models get released at once, people split their money between all items. Also, advertising for each item is reduced and overall excitement might change to overwhelmingness.

However the lack of previews and such from GW is pretty terrible.

Wracks and Grotesques seem metal/resin, so not included in the Black Box.

Wracks would have been ripe for conversion if they were plastic. Shame.

BRING ON THE SCOURGES.

GW has been in a habit of doing them on Wednesdays when they actually update their site. Used to be Tuesdays. Cheers.

Finally I'll be able to use non-proxied venoms for my army. That, and I can finally mess with other WWP builds now that the Talos and Scourges will be available. Sweet.

Wensday eh? Thanks a lot guys, I"m not in a real position to go to a FLGS yet, so Advance Order pics will have to suffice.

It was moved to wednesdays due to a lot of the one man stores being closed on tuesdays, so they missed out on sales targets etc.

iirc anyway.

I hope the talos looks better than the old one.

Agreed, agreed, agreed and one time with feeling - AGREED! I doubt that we'll be disappointed though, compare the old minis to the new (warriors, incubi etc) and rest assured that GW COULD NOT (hopefully... please god hopefully) not drop the ball for r2 - I don't think they'd let people down on such a potentially huge scale.

I've wanted to run an evil scientist Heamonculi foerce since the codex dropped.

Not one of the units i've been proxying has been released yet, except for Rakath.

Haemonculi forces look a good deal less imposing if you're using AOBR orks to rep for wracks, Meganobz for Grotesques, Tomb Spyders for Talos and warbuggies for venoms

When my local gaming store got the black box for the new stegadon it was way bigger than the mettal one so going on that I know the talos will be bigger and have way more conversion options.

I reckon Scourges sans wings and maybe a headswap would be decent wracks anyway.

Is the new Talos going to be plastic?

I'm expecting Scourges to look like bird-people, so I don't think they'll be very Wrack-like at all.

Hmm, do we know yet if the Talos kit will include parts for a Cronos? Rumour mill has had it for a while that it will be a dual-kit so fingers crossed.

Also, confirmation on Scourges, Venom and Talos... but not Razorwing? Is this now not in the box? it would seem highly unlikely given the inside back cover of the last WD to miss out now. If this is in (as with the Talos/Cronos) will it be a dual purpose Razorwing/Voidraven kit?

Looking forward to the release in any event but will be disappointed if we still don't have models for all heavy support choices after this...

Getting excited for this too... Although, is it possible things will be released that arent in the blackbox? Or are we looking at a wave 3 down the road for grotesques and void ravens? (or is it 4?)
