I think I can make it there this saturday with my csm. Never played 40k before. Had to sell off the Dwarfs so I can't provide fantasy stuff anymore, but I'm still sitting on a solid 3000 of OnG and growing so I hope we get some people.

Hello im also looking for a game and a nice group of people to play against... ive been out of playing since 3rd but ive never stopped expanding my collection lol so ive got enough for pretty much any reasonable point limit.... i wouldnt be able to attend this saturday but probably next... the gents mentioned something about meeting on thursdays is that something anyone from the saturday get together does?

It's ok, we have 2 newer players there and we're always willing to teach. If you need to borrow any CSM to fill out your army sat let me know, I've got a bunch of CSM.

We don't go to the thurs thing, that's a different group. I may go one day to meet them, but the sat group is a real relaxed group.. so I didn't want to grab any 'ard boys, lol. (though I don't know what kind of players the thurs guys are)

I think I'll bring some Nurgle this weekend, haven't played them for a while.

I MIGHT need a rhino, but I think I can get it built tonight.

IIRC, you have to buy or order any 40k plastic kit or gw terrain piece from them as a "registration fee" sort of thing, then you can show up on the 18th and play. Everything is warstore prices, so 20% off. I'll be there.

OK, this upcoming sat is AKON so they are going to have that side of the store closed so I won't be there. We will resume again the next weekend though.

So how late do you guys play at madness? I usually play and hangout with the crew at Frisco on Saturdays during the day. But I'd be open to coming by if there's gaming later in the evening, or on any day other then saturday or Sunday.

I've got some interest in people wanting to play at Comic Asylum in Richardson this weekend (Arapaho and Jupiter rd) on sunday during the day. I'm gonna talk to some people and I'll let everyone know.

I just moved to the South side of Ft. Worth, from the Northern Virginia area, Heard that there is a lot of gaming here but seems that there are the gamers but not enough room to play places. I am always down to play. Working early M-F gives me lots of time. I play Blood Angels, Tau, Daemon Hunters, Eldar. If there is somewhere that a lot of people meet up would love to know.

Chris I'm in South Arlington. I'd love to get together at the Lone Star Comics on Cooper sometime.

As for everyone else, I usually play at Hobbytown USA Plano or at Area 51, but those are both very long drives for me, so I try to go out when I can make a full day of gaming.

Hannah and I are going to go visit her family in way south Texas this weekend... (hooray... ) so we won't be able to do anything. Instead we get to sit around and stare at people who don't like us.

Cool, I haven't played in weeks.

I haven't gotten the nids yet, dunno if the guy is going through with it. He's "shipping first" so we'll see. I did sell all my fantasy stuff though, and am working towards 1000 each of ogres and dark elves so me and a friend can play in adepticon doubles next year. I also ended up with another dwarf army I will never play. So if you or someone else up there wants to start fantasy you can just have them, it's about 750 pts solid, up to 1000 if you go top heavy. I've also got a small pile of tomb kings, but they're mostly characters and monsters so they need a battleforce or equivalent to make them playable. Anyway, since I've got these two armies I'm starting, a dwarf army and some TK to give away, and 500pts of double-duty daemons, I'm pretty much a walking fantasy demo game if you guys want to try it out. There aren't really any fantasy groups within easy distance of me so I'd really like to give 8th and the new armies a try.

Cool, I have some dwarves and we have the rulebook. I'm looking at chaos now though especially with the new realm of magic thing that is coming out.

That's why I ended up picking DE. I'll bring up the dwarfs in case you want them. If nobody ends up wanting to play them I guess you can trade them for some chaos. I'm just trying to get rid of all this unpainted plastic I'll never use.

You can always put them up on the swap shop. I've been trading some of my Space wolves with pretty good success.
