A buddy of mine is moving out to the dallas fort worth area. he's got a blood angels and a ork army but is mostly looking for a good store that has a strong 40k community and a strong role playing (star wars, DND, dark heresy ect) groups located nearby or in store. I told him i'd post here for him so that he could read the comments.

Well, my house is over on Plano and Arapaho, so when you are back you are welcome to come grab a game one weekend. I've got a 8x4 table with lots of terrain at my place and Comic Asylum is down the street.

What ever you like to play. We play from 500 to 5000 depending on what we feel like playing that day. Sense we have a mix of semi-veteran and newer players, a lot them like to play doubles as it lets us kind of balance the teams. In the long run though, non of us are competitive and like to just hang out and play some friendly games.

I am 5 minutes north of Euless.
We have Generation X comics in Euless (small devoted 40k group), we also have Area 51 in Grapevine (more playing area as well as devoted group). GW in Grapevine barely has any table space and dont really allow much free gaming unfortunately.

There is a new game store about 40 minutes out of Ft Worth in Granbury called The Harbor. They carry Warhammer/40k, Warmachine, Hordes, and MTG. It has some tables set up for gaming. Just opened up but there is finally a place to play and meet new gamers around here.

I was just curious if you were all still meeting out at Madness? I live in Carrolton and am wanting to get into 40k. Just wanted to make sure the time and location were still correct.
Thanks,
David

I've only seen 2 40k games played there in the past 3 weeks, so I think the original crew at madness has tapered off. That being said, my group of friends that use to play exclusively at GW Frisco, have taken up residence at Madness. We dropped off 2 tables for gaming, and we're trying to build a wargaming community up there.
We play 40k, Fantasy, Warmachine & Hordes. We play on Saturdays all day currently.

Yes there are, I was a player at frisco but, came to madness to check it out. The ex-frisco players are really cool and friendly people, they play 40k, fantasy, and now warmachince (which I hope I get into soon). I will be there almost every saturday for a game or two with 40k and fantasy.

I'm a Plano 40K player looking for a gaming group/home. I visit Madness regularly and I have tons of 40K stuff(Marines, CSMs, IG, Necrons, SoB) lots of terrain, and a gaming table. Is Madness a regular gaming spot now? If so, how many people show up? Is it easy to find a pick-up game?
Thanks,
-Clark

I think we've made my house in Richardson the common spot for 40k and Warlord. Though I know madness has 40k on sunday and sat still.
Funny story.. Gony who was looking for people to play with and he finally came over to my place yesterday to play... and it turns out we already knew each other. Small world.

Is that an invitation and if so, do you play often on weekends? I travel during the week for work.

I was there playing the day you guys dropped the tables off. Was in the middle of an eldar v. D.eldar fight. You guys do 40k? Thought you were playing warmahordes while we were there.
