But yea In n Out really is a serious cult. They have a secret menu. Its funny to watch the cultists order in the secret code.
Their burgers are a little greasy for my taste but they still do unspeakable Cannerus like things to what McDonalds passes off as burgers. Automatically Appended Next Post: VermGho5t wrote:I wish there was one of those here. Or a Del Taco. Or an El Pollo Loco. God I need a burger now.
Mmm Del Taco. The kids still don't believe me when I tell them it exists. They keep thinking I'm having an Alzheiomers moment and talking gabout Taco Bell. Automatically Appended Next Post: Lord-Loss wrote:In the UK we just have Mcdonalds....
I'm so sorry. I never knew. This explains a lot of the evil American hate. Automatically Appended Next Post: FITZZ wrote: Hmm, we have a Krispy Kreme just a mile or so down the road from where I live...didn't know they were scarce.
As for In N Out burger,I haven't eaten there since I lived in California ,and that was twenty odd years Ago, do recall they were very crowded when we went.
Apparently they don't operate East of the Mississippi, which is a bit of a shame as I did enjoy their food quite a bit.
They anbd Carls Jr. are spreading. Indeed there is a rumor Carls may move its headquarters to Texas-likely Austin.

I've been to the In and Out next to stonebriar, the way they do the car line is insane. Better to walk in. But i dont know, guess I'm not a hamburger fanatic. To me, a hamburger is a hamburger. I mean no offense, not trying to say all hambuergers are alike, but I wont mind eating any type of burger really whether mconalds quarter pounder, five guys make your own, home made, etc.
I dont think I have ever tried whataburger
Also after watching someone's review of white castle, I am very afraid to go there

Apparently they don't operate East of the Mississippi, which is a bit of a shame as I did enjoy their food quite a bit.
California native- They were only operating in Cali, Arizona because all of their meat ships from their patty production facility in Ca. so they have a limited radius of how far they can put a store and get the meat delivered every other day. They finally created another “patty production facility and distribution center." in Dallas to allow them to operate in Texas. At this rate it will be awhile before it gets to the south.
The secret menu is only because they will not change their menu to show new items-they like to advertise that they have the same menu that they had when they 1st opened. Their animal fries are awesome!

In N Out secret menu. I can't vouch for the veracity, although I recognize the "protein style" one though.

DOn't worry, I would too. In N Out is good, but it's not THAT good.
Hmm, as for burger fast food I'd say...
1) FIve Guys
2) Carl's Jr.
3) In-N-Out
However, a lot of the time I'd rather go to an In-N-OUt than a Carl's just because of the nostalgia facotr they've got.
And it's awesome to know they had grilled onions, I've been meaning to check that. Double Double with grilled onions here I come!

No, but they still qualify as 'fast food' to me. You're not meant to always eat inside, and it's meant to take relatively little time to get your food served to you.
P.S.
God, what is with dakka giving me a little warning about too many capital letters/exclamation points every time I post here?
