Mainly a 28mm Metal manufacturer with all sorts of stuff like pirates, dwarves, and swat. Pay roughly $5 a fig for guys on foot.

That's the short list.

Fantasy, massive range of Historicals, Pirates, Vikings, Western, Urban Sci Fi, 2000AD, paints and guides, rules, and more. This store will likely be my GW replacement.

Edit: I meant to add that I just received my order of Dr Who stuff from Black Tree. Only took about 3 weeks. I'm very happy with the quality of the minis.

People need to put pressure on TO's and event organizers to allow non GW figures at their tournaments/events. I'd love to see someone roll in with Mantic High Elves or Foundry Orks or WF Shock Troopers...

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Organisers need to make a trade off between the offer of prizes from GW and the number of possible attenders turned away by strict adherence to only GW models.

If more non-GW model army owners want to come to a tournament and can't, there will be a turnover point where the value of the free prizes from GW are lower than the lost ticket sales.

That's the point at which the TO needs to think about allowing non-GW models and if necessary accepting prizes from non-GW sources.

A FLGS-owner TO'd a tournament and gave prizes of store credit conglomerated from the entry fees. So the prizes were not necessarily GW.

The winner actually bought a bunch of Warmachine stuff and joked, "I just play 40k to fund my other hobbies"

I'm thinking that a number of tournaments receive prizes directly from GW HQ on the condition that non-GW models are not allowed.

Of course, non-GW prizes are cheaper so it is an easier switch as long as you don't want to attract people who are interested in winning GW prizes.
