Right now, 99 British pounds is 162 US dollars. That's still a damn good deal for what you get. I will definitely be getting one, and trading away the Menoth for more Khador.

He's awesome looking - I wish they would make another 1-2 gatormen units though, I'd love to do a tiny all gator force but they only have the one unit (and not many solos).

Doubtful. Pretty much everything in the picture is mutilated and decaying.

If that $99.99 price on the two player starter is correct, they are basically giving away one of those armies compared to retail. In particular, Menoth is getting a beefed up battlegroup compared to the $50 set (which is already discounted).
I hope it pays off for them.

Warstore says $99 retail, their actual price is $79.99 (US). Combine that price with the fact that everything is plastic, it sounds really good. As long as the minis are decent quality Ill get a box.

They're the same minis as the current battle boxes, warjack kits, and Cinerators/soon-to-be-released plastic Shocktroopers.

It looks like I'm going to be trading my Cygnar for some Khador (my friend already plays Menoth, has the starter set. Guess he could sell the models in the new set?). I mean, getting the starter set and a full unit of Man-o-Wars? Extreeeeme saving!

That or he just gets the new set, too. Can always use another Crusader and arc node.

I'm hoping that the $99 is true, because if so, hot damn. Freaking awesome way to get people started with the game and 2 new armies if they hadn't given them a try yet, and with the contents, it's a steal.

Well I play Cygnar but picked up the Menoth box so I could let friends play against me and get into the game. Had I known this was in the pipeline I'd of bought Cryx xD

Personally I'm looking at the Menoth half of the box as an excellent way to expand my current small force (still mostly unbuilt and unpainted, bought in the PP sale), ok a duplicate Kreoss isn't that useful but the rest will be very useful for me, the crusader can be turned into a character jack and the rest will be nice additions particularly the vanquisher.

Plus I can give/sell the Khador half + mini rule book to someone so I've got a regular opponent.

$99.99 you say? Complete and utter steal for us Brits at approx £62.

Look at my post a few above yours...it already listed on thewarstore.com, $99 (US) suggested retail, warstore price is $79.

I use that excuse too. I need an army...well the wife needs an army...oh and so does our older boy...gives me an excuse for at least 3 armies for any game. If only I had the money to really take advantage of it...

Talked with a friend of mine-- he'll take the Menoth stuff even though he already has Kreoss. He likes the idea of getting his 4th Repenter and wants the two heavies for creating character jacks like the new one with the two swords.

Gator (warlock?) preview looks soooooooooo good... I just wish they'd fix the one gator unit... I know I already said that, but really, if they did I'd probably be buying gators RIGHT NOW.

Hang on - why is everyone saying more plastic Man-O-Wars? As far as I was aware, the two released units were currently in metal. While there is a suspicion (based on some NQ pics) of a new plastic kit, I didn't think it was confirmed yet.

They were. Jen Ikuta confirmed that the new MoW sculpts were plastic a few months back when the first resculpts were spotted in NQ. It's more interest in whether we're getting a multi-kit or not, which the release schedule settles.
