Good Question. Most likely they have some type of credit card, or a barcode to scan or something. Id say just fill a chest with gold doubloons and be done with it!

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.
It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from. |

Ok, blended my two favorite answers of "Gold coins" and "Gaunt scrotes" to make a Genestealer that is literally excreting these gold coins.
It doubles as a Genestealer model, triples as a statement of how awesome genestealers are in close combat.

Yea but in Gaunt's Ghosts a lasgun and a bush blows up a Chaos Dreadnought then the Imperium win because of "oh my god 4 pages to write an ending magic did it!", so essentially those books really suck.

for a starters the Dread was already battle damaged, the lasgun was overcharged to explode, most likely hitting with the strength of a lascannon shot, thirdly all it did was crack the armour, allowing the poisonous spines of the plant to kill the dread

The Pound Sterling is more likely to survive to the future than the Euro...
Coins, Fiat, and Teeth are probably the only forms of currency. Items for bargaining can be anything.
