Here it is, all done, the farseer and his boys, there were 9 models all together but I could not get them all in on picture, so a group photo of 3 will have to do. Enjoy!

I love the effect, and thanks for sharing your tips with us.

I had never thought to use this method on something so small. My girlfriend and I have used it for decorating before, and we usually use a glazing medium mixed with the color on the top layer. Have you tried this?

That is where I first learned to do it as well was on walls and such to create a faux design....then I carried the idea over to Xbox 360 cases and plates, then motorcycle tanks and fenders....it has evolved, but I am by no means the originator of it.

I never tried using a glaze medium on a mini, my guess is it would make for a layer of paint that was fair to think, that is where the benefit of using the airbrush to apply the top layer comes in, the paint is already going to be wet for a moment after the application, and thin because of the air brush, so it is kind of a perfect airbrush technique, you just have to work fast, I would be reluctant to try this technique on a mini w/ a brush.

Incredible job.

The banner on the back of the farseers bike looks sweet.

I like the grey on the hair as well as the black on the cloaks, something I wouldnt think of doing. Love the green on the weapons and the gems as well.

The overall detail on the farseer just looks amazing, great job!
