Chaos Lord
Mark of Tzeentch
Halberd
Talisman of Preservation
Armour of Damnation
Potion of Foolhardiness
Word of Agony

hopefully pop any Assassins targeting you. Obviously not wasting the amazing initiative of the Chaos Lord. Able to kill both characters and Rank and File.

These Lords are better because they can deal lots of damage really quickly, It's like in 40k, A Space Marine captain isn't worth it because he doesn't do enough damage and in a quick enough time, by turn 3 he might be doing some damage but he can get easily overrun.

Then There's the flying DP's, The Sanguinor & Those with Jump Packs, these are great because you can get into combat by turn 2 and you can do a lot of damage with them, my Nurgle Daemon prince with warptime has S6 T5(6) I5 Re-rolls to hit and wound in combat if he passes his psychic test, that will make a mess of most units!

If you go for a footslogging Lord you need him to benefit the army, but if you were putting somone in a unit of warriors i'd just go with a sorcerer.

I run my BA on foot those guys run across the board and usually in cc turn 2.

As I said earlier tho the reason I was wondering about the lord on foot was because I want an excuse to run Archaon on foot since that model is sick.

Maybe as a bsb haha.

Also not a huge fan of sorcerers in units they usually explode on me then even with puppet discs are much more fun I find mobile do well like sorcerer lord on disc is great he is awesome.

NO! How about the new manticore model that just came out it fly and terror I know it a nice you build a both lords

That how ever is not on foot so...

I have not read too much of the storm of magic so I dont quite know.

The model how ever and the bits look excellent and I am looking forward to getting one myself.

My problem with the manticore is this, yes he causes terror and flys, but like his griffon counterpart he has no armour and dies fast in CC

Then use it for sorcerer lord to move around the battlefield and for those sniper warmachine use cover to protect it

I agree with Ralin.

Why bother with such an expensive mount for a sorcerer a disc does the job just fine and only costs 20 points.

Because Marauders are some of the best core in the game and I love my naked lumberjacks of doom! Also I may go insane one week and paint them all and then wouldnt that look sik

go for the +3 attack sword, helm of many eyes and an enchanted shield, maybe you also wanna look in to getting a wardsave but... it will give 9 attacks with asf rerolls at str 5 what's not to like.

There is always the Stop Hitting Yourself Lord build....

Just wanted to say something about this... That build (armour of damnation + father of blades) made Karl Franz hit himself in the face with his shiny hammer.

So much win!
