This is the BEST P&M blog. I for one crack up at the ramblings and gazillion posts you make. But for real, the models you've posed look pretty nice. They and your blog are quite chaotic, which is fitting I suppose. If you don't get a ton of responses, don't freak out. It happens to the best of us. Its not easy to catch a Daemon Prince. A lot of cunning is required to lure them into a false sense of security then you can spring your trap!

Either that or they realise what you are up to and finish you off in a nasty way and in Nurgles case you could be looking at some form of digestive acid spray

on a long forgoton planet on the edge of space and time, a lone warrior hunts his elusive prey. yet this is not just any planet no this is a planet made entirely of the warp for it is the warp as much as the warp itself. it is the heart of darkness the core of the warp where a man would go crazy upon seeing it and die upon his first breath. yet on this planet there is one human who stalks something far greater. a deamon, the deamon prince that goes by the name Slayer. a crafty creature able to change size and shape able to become what it wishes. this is the hunted. the hunter, or so he believes, is flourence darkhorse, a madman of a lord long thought to be dead as he was sucked into the warp searching for deamonhood or one to follow him. this is his story.

so what do people think this is just the intro there will be more soon... i hope

I love the idea of a man hunting a deamon on some forgotten planet! The hunter/hunted role reversal could be really interesting to read (and write

). I'm looking foreward to seeing how the hero's backstory fleshes out: how does a lowly human come to be hunting a daemon, anyway? A few pieces of CC: the concept of a planet at the heart of the warp, made out of pure warp is a bit tough to swallow. I think you could come up with some great story as to why this planet is completely and utterly corrupted by the warp (and if it wasn't Khorne or Nurgle, it could look very strange and not just tainted). I'm itching for some more details sprinkled in to the backstory! The names of your characters don't really strike me as epic (if that wasn't what you were going for than ignore the next part

). I think Slayer should be a title, not a name. For example: "The daemon prince Trathyst.The Slayer of Virtue and the Accuser of Maruth."

Just my thoughts

as for backstory... i had not though of that.

though i do have a partial first draft of the story that i will be putting up this weekend...i hope

anyway yeah it still needs some tweaking...a lot of tweaking

but i will make a whole new thread for this story so yeah be on the look out for it otherwise i will post a link to it here

anyway yeah not much going on toady might get some of the story on the computor i hope but i have a lot of stuff to do today.

SO ACTUAL update

built a vindicator will post pics but need help makeing it look good. prefeably some kinda nurgle vehicle.
already know how to get base color. dheneb stone follow by canathan green wash for a good base color. it after that i am getting kinda stuck

in the process of speed building a deamon prince for TODAY!!! so that will hopefully get some wips up ounce done
already got the scheme for him done and i hopr you will like it

i played my first game in the campaign yesterday. lost by one kill point in annhialation cities of death style
guy dropped drop pads on me turn one and popped the vindicator

all down hill after that...plus he ran pedro oh and it was a vanilla marine army

so yeah...

that's it for today

Dang on that loss. Drop pod marines can be tough to deal with. The prince looks grumpy. I can't wait to see some stuff painted up!

so yeah might not be abe to get anything up really this weekend rather busy but i will try to get that dam prince primed so i can start work on him. will try to get something good soon. oh and i might also be getting an eldar farseer just cause he looks cool. so i was wondering, cause i really dont know, how do you pin metal models so the dam thing dont fall apart?

saving up for necrons and well if what i read is true their vehicles will be a TON EXPENSIVE!!!

kinda wanted to run an army in transports asap but looks like i will have to sufice with proxying my rhios as ghost arks

okay made a final decision it is eldar

really what swung it was hitting a doomed unit with dire avengers and having them guided. hitting it with the math hammer, One died yeah

, on an averge roll you will get 21 wounds when you bladestorm 21

really that was the turning point. that and the fact that well their transports can get lances well yeah.

so should be picking up the eldar codex soon as well as a metal farseer soon. will post picks asap.

I can't wait to see them! Welcome to the craftworlds buddy. They make a finecast set of a farseer and a few warlocks..maybe look at that instead of the metal guy. They'll stay together much better and much easier, and some warlocks are always good to have.

to be honest i thought about getting the finecast farseer, and i might later, but i really like the pose of the metal one with the spear.

any way i got the eldar codex and have been writting lists like mad trying to come up with the best 1750 list. i think i got one

i will post it here later tonight, after work, for input

anyway not much going on though i did th math and the army i want for eldar right now would cost me about $500 so yeah it will take a while before that happens anyway will post list later and well

and as i said yesterday i would post my awesome list....

cause hopefully this will be my tournament list if i ever join one, which i plan to...some day

anyway here it is

2 farseers
-spirits stones

3 squads of dire avengers in wave serpents
-avenger exarch with 2 shuriken catapults and bladestorm
wave serpents with bright lance spirit stones and star engines

1 squad of harlequins
-troupe master
-shadowseer
-4 harlequins kisses
1 squad of guardians
-with warlock spiritseeer and bright lance platform
1 wraithlord
with bright lance, missile launcher and flamer and shirekin

it is a little less than 1750

so any thoughts suggestions?

oh and all the bright lances are cause well, from what i understand, the current meta game is all transports so it is to KILL THEM

Bright Lances are neat but frankly they're only worth it on Wraithlords and Wave Serpents. 30 points for a bs3 one shot s8 weapon is way too much. And it's not any better than a missile launcher most of the time.

Don't underestimate s6 weapons like Scatter Lasers and Shuriken Cannons. Most transports are armor 10 or 11, and s6 with multiple shots is great at taking these out. I'd switch the Guardians platform to Shuriken Cannon or Scatter Laser for sure, and maybe drop the Wave Serpents down the same. I like to run some Wave Serpents with Shuriken Cannon turrets and hull mounts, which is cheap and gives a ton of shots.

If you drop the lances on the serpents to shuriken cannons, give the guardians a shuriken cannon, drop the star engines, and drop runes or witnessing from your farseers you have almost enough points to add in fire dragons with a wave serpent. This will give you lots of s6 that has a fine time popping transports with tons of shots, and a squad that can basically blow up anything to take care of landraiders and the like.

Just some thoughts, hope this rant helps at all
