I stand corrected... 1) I forgot about libby casting Hammerhand in the unit as well (can you say GK deathstar?)
2) I was under the impression that since draigo has joined the unit, then he and his unit can only cast as many powers as there mean psyker level allows. (see psychic communion rule)

Thankfully I dont plan on fielding Draigo for games unless its above 1500-2000 pointsish... He is a monster, but I cant see fielding him as a quarter of my points, with or without the plus 1 to cc invuln

2) Is incorrect. I think you mean Psychic Mastery as well, not communion - PC is a power...

Each psyker can cast as may powers as their Mastery level allows

What I meant is brotherhood of psykers, one of their chapter special rules, but upon reading it again I realized the most important detail of the last sentence "cannot use independent characters leadership... meaning two different psychic tests... woof!

A little off topic... I heard Crowe is not an IC and therefore cannot join a unit... is this true?

Question without having to make another thread. If your termis or paladins have a brotherhood banner and your NFW are auto passed, can an enemy psyker with a hood dispell it???

Psychic hoods are used after a successful psychic test is made.

Automatically success is still success, so yes.

Yes. All you skip is the psychic test, nothing else.

hiya people, new here but Play GK for about 10 years. The discussion here have me laughing really hard. glad to know people in here have a good sense of humor. I like the discussion, but i must interject about the deny the which case. It only works for attack being directed towards the unit. since hammer hand and NFW/FW activation is towards the bearer DTW does not take place if the test is passed and deamon/psykers could be removed from the board at the end of the assault phase even if they are EW but only if there was a psyker in that unit.

what i wanted to discuss was the the wound count for combat resolution, does it still count. I know that deamons are ldrship 10/fearless but if i caused wounds and won the combat does that ldrship test they take at the end still suffer from the combat loss modifier?

Sorry to say driago no get +2IS in CC that would be over beast.

Well before Deny the witch was around, thus your insights have no bearing on the discussion at had, as the Psychic Hood could be used to negate a psychic power no matter who the target was as long as the hood was within 24 inches.

@Vorth: You are about 2 years too late on a discussion that referenced an entirely different edition and FAQ set.
