This doesn't factor in that their metal is really well done. I haven't seen any major miscasts or need any major cleaning.
This, sir, is a load of codswallop.
The metal beast models are almost universally bad when it comes to gaps and misfitting. It is a requirement to green stuff any beast model. The Warjacks aren't nearly as bad because of the ball and socket structure of most of them.
Additionally, for any lack of clean up required in the metal (you still want to wash them, as they usually have a lot of mold release--not a big deal though) you make up for it in the plastic sets. The plastics have a lot of mold lining in inconvenient places, making it a pain in the butt to clean up. The Cygnar Plastic Jack kit is pretty bad for this; I've finally worked out a way to successfully clean the mold lines that run over the rivets, but it took some trial and error for sure.
Overall, Warmahordes is certainly cheaper to get into, but it's a wholly different game than Warhammer. You're using a lot less models (which decreases price) and you really need to know all the rules in order to be successful, including your opponent's rules.
I personally don't get the "giving up one to play another" mentality, but Warmahordes is definitely a fun game!
