Missed most games since last weekend. I caught th SA Borefest today (seriously Fiji up your game, moar hits required), then the Mrs made me miss the Ireland game. Go go gadget impotent rage!

Well yeah, kinda deserved it really giving away too much everything England shouldn't of got to the final, although I'm not happy with going out to an erratic French side, if they could ever put together a good string of matches they'd be very dangerous.

On the bright side Manu is a house and England now know to inject some creativity into the backs.

Now that England's out should i support Wales or Australia maybe the aussies since i have a aussie rugby top.

England got what they deserved, no idea what the hell the boys were doing, bloody embaressing. Mind you if we had scraped through the Welsh would of done us, that was a an awesome game.

Playing semi-professional rugby I was disappointed yesterday. England kicked out and Saints lost the grand final

England are gak at rugby and football.

We turn out fething good ale though, so it all turns out well in the end.

England were woeful. They showed that they could play by scoring a couple of useful tries but fir the rest of the game they were like nervous school boys.

I like the bloke but Johnno get some of the blame. Stevens wasn't the player he used to be and got played out of position, haskell on the bench and the lawes brought on in the back row rather that in place of one of the two anonymous second row, the wilko/flood combo that should have played before a semi! The list goes on.

When banahan comes on and looks creative you know you are below par.

Well done France at least someone came to the party. The only silver lining we have is missing out on the ignomy of possibly losing to the welsh!

England looked out of ideas after 20 minutes.France's defense smothered Aston and Foden, and we struggled to come up with anything new. On top of that, our defense suddenly became leaky, our handling turned to poop and our discipline went downhill..France turned up; we didn't

Wales are looking sharp. I fancy them to turn France over. Their back row is very impressive, they want it, they play with vision...me likey...

Felt a little sorry for South Africa, they came top of their group but because Australia dropped a game they got lined up against us. I mean, we lost to Ireland so we deserve to have to take on a tougher opposition, but...

Anyhow, funny old game between Australia and South Africa. Australia were without the ball and in their defensive half for just about the whole game. They defended very well to only concede 9 points through out. The try basically came out of nowhere, and it seemed like the few times we went forward went forward we seemed to score, and otherwise spent the game giving the ball up with silly little kicks.

It really just very odd. You had a perfectly good, iconic uniform, but then you go and pick a uniform that's really, really close to the colours of the host nation... There wasn't even a history of wearing black.

Yes, the odd thing with me, is that I find the Welsh/Irish are not as overtly brainwashed into racism like the Scots are, so I have no problem supporting the Welsh.

If it was Wales or Ireland vs France, i would root for the two former.

The French team is too chaotic to make any accurate pronostic. I wouldn't bet a bretzel on this match, but it might be interesting.

I am right with you there. There is welsh extremism, but its frowned upon by the Welsh.
Many Scots want out and blame us for everything, its not cool being English north of the border, there is a lot of real hostility. They seem to forget the Treaty of Union is a partnership not a colony, and blame us for all thier own shortcomings. They are still more than happy to be net consumers of public funding.

Hey guys could anyone recommend what they think has been the game of the tournament so far? Where I'm living at the moment it's bloody hard to see any of it, but I might try and download or stream a couple of games if it's possible. I'm not concerned with which nations are in the game, just as long as it's good rugby and not a whitewash!

Any help would be appreciated.

I reckon France v Tonga (I think) from the group stages. The French were woeful and the Tongans were epic. It was a cracker!

France seems to have one good game every world cup, and they've already done that, so I guess Wales are a good chance.

Well whoever wins the scrap between the All-Blacks and the Wallabees will win the cup, no doubt about it. And I would put money on the All-Blacks for home advantage and generally crushing everyone. England played terribad against France though I never saw that match. Wales beating Ireland was a surprise, and Wales will probably beat France with ease.

Bit predictable these events. Aussies, South Africans or New Zealanders will win Doesn't matter who, just those 3. And the English won't win considering we suck at sports in general... the Olympics aren't gonna go our way at all...
