Beside that I enjoyed Chaos Gate, Final Liberation and even Firewarrior.
I enjoyed ,,Shadow of the horned Rat" desptie no love for Warhammer Fantasy, until two hopping squigs wasted all my heavy elite troops including knights with some jumps.
How the hell does Neverwinter Nights have more RPG elements then Fallout and Mass effect? Colour me confused.

O thinker people are just grasping at straws here.
I cant see how space marine plays like god of war either.

He's referring to the fact that NWN and KOTOR used actual RPG systems that were the same as or only slightly modified from their TT versions, not that they had more story or something. AKA, direct translations of RPGs that people play. Basically, a Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader/Death Watch system PC/Console game.

what about a first person shooter as either a stormtrooper or a normal guardsman? the idea seems generic but to be honest, I would love to play something like Halo or Call of Duty in 40k form.

Couple problems with that, such as that the ig only have one gun realy, the lasgun. Like the general idea though.

ya, shining your flashlight...err, lasgun at something for 5-6 hours of campaign just seems repetitive.

Yeah, allowing you to only use a Lasgun is pretty much artificially extending the length of the game. Never liked games doing that.

What about a game where you're......a civilian trying to escape a hive city that's being invaded by 'nids. I think it would be cool to play as a soldier, and in the game you can pick up pieces of debris to hit some gaunts over the head with!

A new version of Space Hulk would be cool. The original Space Hulk games look awesome for their time.

A really good FPS/RPG hybrid.
....or a Space sim where the player takes the role of a Thunderbolt/Chaos equivalent/Eldar equivalent pilot in the same vein as X-Wing and TIE Fighter.
Oh man. Oh. Man. Oh man. I friggin loved those games.
