The first Imperial Armour book was the only one which stated the rather odd amount of armour for Imperial tanks. All others refrain from such statements.
Otherwise both IA and the Apoc datasheets are quite consistent when it comes to the hight of the titans they describe, which means that titans range from roughly 12-15metres to roughly 55-60 metres, depending on their class, extra equipment ( missile pod on the Reaver for example ) and posture.

...which is the measurements that I used. Now I'm confused, where DO people really get the 400+ meters measurements from?

Stoping guns that fire the "concentrated power of the sun" is just an idiotic statement. You should be ashamed

Plasma guns are literally described as firing shots with "the power of the sun".

Thats because plasma is the 4th state of matter, and is literally pure energy. The sun is made almost entirely of plasma.

Earth is actually really weird in that <.01% of matter here is plasma, yet in the universe as a whole >99.99% of matter is in the form of plasma. So plasma is really common, just not here. Common forms of plasma on earth include Lightning and Fire (like the actual flame part). Science facts for the day, brought to you by the letter A.

whats the one that's smaller than the warhound? I though warhound was the smallest/fastest

It's a Knight, from the look of its armament, a Knight Paladin.

Although Bombboy is correct that the Warhound is the smallest Titan class, since Knights are Knights, NOT Titans.

Uh, yeah? Duh? Just refuting the fact that KingDeath does not believe that 40k says plasma guns fire the "power of the sun".

It's been a long time since I've talked about plasma in any kind of intellectual sense, but don't we basically assume Plasma weapons in 40k are fully ionized non thermal plasma ejected at a target? I could be totally off base. And also because plasma weapon sounds better than "lightning gun"

I think I like Lightning gun better.

same with Battletech and the PPC who's image was destroyed after mechwarrior made it a slow moving ball instead of the white/blue type of laser that it is.

I remember PPCs in MW mercenaries being a series of blue beams of light. Everytime I shot it at a Thors head I yelled 'set phasers to kill!" pretty sure my parents thought I was crazy.
