In the Space Wolf codex it says this about crimes:"As with all serious transgressors against the unspoken laws of Russ, those few who push their luck too far and commit an offence anathema to their Chapter are assigned a punishment to fit the crime. One who has caused the death of a senior member of the Space Wolves may be struck down, only to wake up to a new life as a med-servitor. Not all the sagas of the Sons of Russ end in glory."

I would say since he tried to off a Commissar and seriously hurt the other obviously high ranking official, have his character turned into a med-servitor. It fits the crime and is fluffy.

"Khorne is a noble warrior who respects strength and bravery, who takes no joy in destroying the weak, and considers the helpless unworthy of his wrath. It is said that fate will spare any brave warrior who calls upon Khorne's name and pledges his soul to the blood god. It is also said that Khorne's daemons will hunt down and destroy any warrior who betrays his honour by killing a helpless innocent or murdering in cold blood..."

Well, i think the part about the melta shooting is kinda ok (if there was a dark douchebag marine with them i'ld say give him extra xp xD), because if theres someone who doesn't take ยง$%& from the wyrd its a space wolf

The rest is kinda hard to decide. I mean, how did they talk to each other etc. (tone, behaviour, etc). If you get on a SW's bad side..
Afaik, the space wolves even destroyed an administratum fleet at one point because they just didn't want to turn around and leave fenris alone, but that's something a friend told me.
And don't forget about the armageddon incident, where the administratorum killed all of the people who lived there, even those who fought bravely.
So, the space wolves dont really like all the official arms of the imperium..

Do i smell Heresy?

Although that kind of behaviour could almost be viewed in a similar light to some of the Wolves in the William King books, or even those in Battle for the Abyss? There are loads of examples of SW getting massively drunk and fighting.

As well as that certainly, while the SW still fight for the Imperium, they don't exactly fall into line like a well behaved Cadian trooper, and are very much under their own control. Attacking a commissar a few times might be going a bit far, but IMO wouldn't be completely out of the question.

It's only the new Dan Abnett book that they have been altered into something more conscientious I think, with less of the beer swilling and belching.

It really just comes down to whether or not he was RPing his character, because thats what the super douche Wolf would actually do. If he is, more power to him. I wouldnt want to RP with a group that doesn't have any character. However, he just be trollin, be hatin... Put that puppy down.

Returning to the original point... it doesn't really matter if he's "just RPing" or being a super-douche. If the actions of the player, or the character, are disruptive to the game to the point that the other players are not enjoying themselves, then it needs to come to a stop.

If he's "just RPing", then he should have no problems dialing it back. Maybe he can make snide comments instead of meltaing fellow PCs. Maybe he can be sent into the tunnel first, and get brain-wormed or, if you're adding in some Aliens aliens, a face-full of alien wing-wong. Whatever.

If he's just being a super-douche? Me, I wouldn't want such a person in my gaming group. Neither the world, nor the game, revolve around them, and I'm not there to provide entertainment to 1 guy at the cost of 5 others.

Marines are hard to make and hard to replace. They wouldn't just kill him, that would be a waste. Asking him to "volunteer" to be the first man into the breach during a ship-to-ship boarding action would be more like it. Still almost certain death but he's doing something useful.

Carve the blood eagle into his back and send him home in discrace. I wouldn't play in a game where the other players were acting like that without damn good reason. If you want to keep him, he's first one in everytime. You need bait? send in the Wolf. You need someone to draw their attention so the useful members can sneak around to flank? Give him that job too. Need to kill a carnifex? SW's are good at close combat right? He'll be a'right, right? Until he redeams his honor, his only use is to take a bolt round for his broters so they don't have to.
Or have the apothocary do horrible experiments on him, that works too.

juraigamer wrote:This is witnessed by the apothecary

The apothecary is wary of the space wolves actions and attempts to maintain watch on the commissar.

The apothecary witnesses this from the point he climbed on the roof.

What ever the Space Wolf did after the point that the Apothecary lost his eyes is fine, as quite clearly, the Apothecary is daemon possessed. How can someone with no eyes, witness or watch anything unless using other means.

More than likely the Space Wolf is aware of the warp tainted traitor in their midst and is trying to make the rest of the group aware of the situation by other means.

YMMV

He got new eyes... probably. My advice would be to take him aside for a couple of words. Those words being 'Power' and 'Fist'.

Arguing with some people is like playing chess with a pigeon. You can play the best chess in the world, but at the end of the day the pigeon will still knock all the pieces off the board and then gak all over it.

yes he did get a new set of eyes, the funny part of that situation is that in character the apothecary never saw who shoot the gun that did it to him and is convinced it was an enemy and no one has told him differenly

Are the players of your DW game all 12 years old?
