I could try the first weekend after haloween. I'll be done with my midterms, and I don't have any term projects this time around.

So I know there was just a GorkaMorka campaign in town that ended a little bit ago, but would you guys be down for starting another one? I've seen some online pdf rules that we could download.

Maybe aim for a new years start time? Give us time to really plan it and have it go for a few months?

I'd possibly be up for something like that, if anyone is into evening battles...

well.... what points range are we talking? I could work this into my schedule, provided that my travel time is 30 minutes on foot/bus. I've had lots of other offers to check stuff out all over, but at the moment, sundays just don't fly due to dance practice, and i work saturdays.
I'd be down with an evening battles, but I think my absolute cap might be at around 1K points. Of course, the stipulaton would also be its show up and play, no army list building on site.
That said, only dates that work are, sadly, fridays, saturdays and as of last sunday, wednesdays (until I make some other dance related commitment) if it were any other time of the year, i would be open to hosting too, as I have guard, loyalists, one and a half armies traitors, 3/4 army bugs as well as a decent sized necron force. (fractions used on account of not having a cookie cutter list)

I could make most Wednesday's work, I have a class once a month that is on Wednesday, I could do either Friday or Saturday evenings.

I have about 1600 painted Chaos, and a Space Marine force started. (Command, Sternguard and a Tac Squad 30% done)

I collect 'crons, nids, and gk's ... once the official release crons will be my main army (since i started them first about a year and a half ago). I live in the SW, can make most weekends , some week nights... sadly my group plays D&D on monday nights so i can't make it to GW's 40k night :(

i think sats and suns are sentrybox games.

Sunday is definitely Sentry Box. From my experience, if you want to go to the GW in Chinook, Monday is the 40k night.

I just played my first game at sentry box in years with Kingilization. It was sweet, until my entire army was CRUSHED hahahahahaha

I am busy until Nov. 13...then things slow down a bit on my end.

subject to whether or not i meet with friends for warmachine on saturday, I might have saturday off.... Sentry box is the closest to me.

my friend mentioned a beginners Warmachine league starting up...I am kinda leaning towards starting that.

Dont think im going to get into warmachine. I placed an order directly from them back in march, and after about a dozen emails back and forth, I still havent received my product. I've even posted on their website and got a message back assuring me it will be sent... that was about a month ago. Think i'm just going to tell them to cancel my order and reimburse me.

There's usually a smallish number of us at Myth every Tues evening, though we are currently mid-escalation league. I don't believe there are any dropins on Sundays though.

Odd...after realizing how great second hand miniature purchasing is I am going to get everything off of Ebay if I do decide to get into it, or stop by Myth or Sentry Box.

This is generally the best way IMHO. Sometimes there aren't the greatest deals , but every now and again you will find a fantastic deal. I remember buying 10x metal immortals for my necrons about a year ago for something like $100 whereas GW was charging $20~ per model.
