When working on boys i thought it would be nice to play that song "the boys are back in town" or something like that
"I’m Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka an’ I speak wiv da word of da gods. We iz gonna stomp da ‘ooniverse flat an’ kill anyfing that fights back. We iz gonna do this coz’ we’re Orks an’ we was made ta fight an’ win!"

Beat me to it! I was going to point out that Warhammer has a soundtrack, GW used to have its own record label and it released a few records back in the late 80s early 90s.
IIRC their first release was Blood For The Blood God by Sabbat which came as a flexi-disc on a WD. Sabbat were one of my favourite bands ever and their first two albums (History of a Time to Come and Dreamweaver) are superb thrash, best British thrash ever!
After that they decided to release grindcore stuff by Bolt Thrower, who were B list grindcore types. Did some decent stuff before their GW days. Got a copy of 'In Battle There Is No Law' somewhere. This was part of the early 90s grindcore explosion. For those of you not of my vintage look up Napalm Death or Extreme Noise Terror on You Tube and grind!
Basically a bunch of Brummies (people from Birmingham, the UK second city, for those of you outside Britain!) were fed up with life and made some stunningly primitive and aggressive music to make up for it. It is characterised by very short songs, bludgeoning simplistic riffs and roaring-bellowing vocals. Also some pretty basic cover art, black and white line drawings of demons, skulls, etc.
I'm sure psychologists would have a field day working out why GW went for this style of music!
ive been watching sea quest dsv and st next gen on netflix while i paint, i fear im about to make orks wearing jump suits.
Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss
Rock and heavy metal from the old school days just makes me wish i had tanks and army guys to paint up like kiss/guns n roses etc impersonators... Now that would be a kick ass army!!!

I am rather partial to the Bee Gees. Night Fever is good, and I always get strange looks when I sing Staying Alive when ever the last guy in a unit survives.
Music really depends on what I'm in the mood for. Sometimes its overly dramatic stuff that gets put on tribute vids on youtube, sometimes its techno, sometimes metal (like sabaton), other times its Irish jigs and sea shanties.
For shows... well my most recent show has been naruto (im a little late for that bus, but w/e) so usually that if im listening to a show at the same time. Lately i've been taking a slight interest in Dr. Who so might try painting to that next time I get in the groove to paint.
Warhammer music has to be only Bolt Thrower. I just love hearing "WORRRLLLLLLDDD EAAAATTTERRRRSSSSSSSS" and a kickass riff comes in and asplodes my mind into eternal war.

If you painted them like kiss, wouldn't they technically be black and white space marines?
If so, put them on black and white bikes.
My job is sound engineering, so I paint while listening to trial mixes and while I wait for mixes to export.
I also write for a music reviewing site, so stuff Ive been given to review usually gets listened to while painting. As for actual theme songs, not really, but here is a song thats actually about the Istvaan dropsite massacres, if anyones interested:
Chorus: "Ignite the very air; betrayal burning & an atmosphere in flames"

Although, I'll have to start listening to that. It sounds very WH40k-ish.

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood.
