my green tide is led by Warboss Shaz McNasty, his trusty side kick is Big Mek McGubbinz. I love to give names and back stories to all of my army's commanders. It one of my favorite parts of the hobbies.

I named my Chaos Sorcerer from the Black Legion

I wanted to name everyone of my Iron Warriors, but after having painting 60 so far I have now scaled that down to squad champions and HQs. But my army has a jornal in which I do try to give all battles names and even a few lines of fluff.

All of my UM squads are named after their sergeants... all of my UM Dreads are named... but none if my orks, sw, or tau

My Master of the Deathwing was named H'Tennek after our Necron player (His name is Kenneth) after he killed the Nightbringer in CC.

Edit: Dreadnought Brother Trollius, went 3 rounds with Eldred in CC and survived till the last turn when he finally died.

Only the Lieutenant has fluff, but to be fair, it's crazy enough for all of them. It involves him killing a Necron lord, and stopping it from phasing out. It results in an explosion. But the Lord was completely destroyed.
Don't tell me that's not ridiculous!

I'm in the process of naming them, though the entire 3rd Company have been given last names. Each squad is its own little 'clan' and each share the last name upon being recruited into it. I'll eventually get around to the first names... maybe.

I havn't named individual characters in my IG, But i've given each Squad its ow designation, CCS Pride, PCS Envy, IS Greed, Etc The problem becoms once i get past seven units...

My warboss is named 'Finrippa' due to his habit of destroying my friend's Tau vehicles and the accompanying big mek is known as 'Gobrench'.

They've both since been mostly retired by another Big Mek who I've never got around to naming, sadly.
