If you don't care about points then, 3 LRBT executioners fully kitted out.
But as much as I dislike the space puppies, long fangs are pretty good

The exorsist is actually pretty decent from the SoB codex.
Ravager is probably the most cost effective, move 12in a turn fire all weapons.

Tau Broadsides.
Twinlinked railguns and smart missiles? With the right upgrades, they get Slow and Purposeful and can fire both weapons in the same turn...and they have a 2+ save and 4++ with shield drones.

Broadsides are really good, as are Hammerheads (due to upgrades)
Ultimately though, the Battlewagon. Just perfect fit in Ork armies, relatively cheap, and throw a deffrolla on there and you win.

Lootas? You have to keep moving with the battlewagon to make the most of it, and lootas can't shoot if they move.

Monoliths may be good, but Wyches can tear it appart in no time. Long Fangs are quite good indeed, but the Triple Executioner can blow them up in a second.

I( would have to go with the BA Stromraven armed with MM, and AC. Move 12" onto the board, MM a tank, blow the rest of the squadron with 4 Bloodstrikes and rip something else up with a Assault cannon. And has Ceramite Plating. Not to mention the DC and Blendernought inside.

Monolithes are easy to beat. Use a Deffrolla, and just keep smashing into it untill you hit it. If it gets immobilised then that helps more.

Baneblades aren't heavy support.
In terms of raw power? hard to beat 3x Leman Russ Executioners with Plasma cannon sponsons and lascannons tossing out 15 PC blasts and 3 lascannons from 1 HS FoC slot each turn.
In terms of cost efficiency? Long Fangs followed by Monoliths (they do so much and are so hard to kill even if the rest of the army sucks), Hydras and Manticores

Ok then, I put my tanks in a triangle formation, the most you could get is two, and that still leaves at least 1 tank left.
So your best chance is first turn, kill two tanks, don't get killed by a lascannon (or HK missle) or lucky plas, then next turn kill the last tank. Even if you hit and pen perfectly, I still have a chance to knock you out with a third of force.

Ravagers are also VERY good. You can have three lances (or If you feel like roasting some SPESS MAHREENS, three Heavy 3 plasma weapons) in a fast skimmer that can zoom around and still fire its three weapons. And on top of that all, it's VERY cheap!
