Actually, my teammates don't like Dark Eldar. So unfortunately no. I'd tell you what I'm bringing (and post a list too), but....this whole team thing.....I'm not sure if they would approve. I think we're all running the same list. =D

I will say that it's a codex that I've never played before. And...Adepticon will be my maiden voyage with them, since I don't have the models either and they'll be provided to me.

Interesting, I guess we'll have a chance of facing you! Warning: I think our team is approaching the team tourney as more of a "For Fun" and "Theme" experience, so you know... we'll probably only face off if it's in Round 1

I'm sure you'll have people lining up to face off with you Dash, but I do want to hunt you down and try to get a friendly game in sometime assuming we don't bump into each other in the Team Tournament.

Anyone know if Stelek is attending?
I'd love to see him play IRL.

Seeing Dash play is also going to be a highlight (although I'm in WHFBland for friday and saturday)

Yeah, I was going to say that particularly with the hint about possibly taking identical lists.

This will be my first time at Adepticon. I'm excited and this will be the largest tournament I've been to. Most others have been local or regional events. Should be a good experience although one of my buddies wasn't able to make it in before the tickets sold out for the 40K championship. Anyone know if they have a waiting list set up?

Wait list requests to info@adepticon.org. Make sure note what event you want to be added to. There are several wait lists in the works.

Hmmm...if he plays Orks, Necrons and Dark Eldar and doesn't play Imperial...that only leaves Tau, Eldar and Tyranids...

And Daemons, and CSM.

Personally, my bet is on Nids. He seems to like fast, maneuverable, 'underdog' armies, and I think Nids are actually vastly underrated in their current form.

I think it is the largest tournament that anyone has been to since I think it is the largest GW tournament.

Its not as bad as you think. You still just play your games one at a time against 3 or 4 different opponents. The only difference is how large and crowded the tournament room is.

I recall the Chicago GT from 2002 having 250 players in the 40K tournament (been a long time - I could be fuzzy on that number). Now, the 480 player team tournament is certainly a record breaker.
