Had some great games this weekend with Dave-c there as well. Played three games against the new necron codex. Found some things that worked great and some not so much.

Hmm, a tournament would be awesome. Sadly, my tournament experience is limited when it comes to Warhammer/WH40k. I'm a rather casual player when it comes to my miniatures. I will keep my feelers out for people who are experienced in running tournaments. Maybe I can wrangle one and get a once a month 40k deal going on.

Yay! And just like that, my feelers latched onto someone. It dawned on me today that I have a good friend of mine who is typically a "Tournament-Only" type of 40k player.

This tournament may be kicking off sooner than I thought.

I'm going to try and play a game this evening (wild guess of 7-7:30pm) if anyone wants to see the new necrons in action. Freshly assembled but likely not painted, working on my warrior/praetorian/deathmark kitbash Crypteks today.

I am also willing to help out with tournaments, I know the setup and function on how to run them fairly well, and have participated in a few myself, would just need advanced notice so i can plan my weekend around it.

I live in kent but CK is totally worth the drive!

I have experience playing tournaments as well, though not so much in organizing them. I could help out by looking at or hearing out scenario ideas to make sure they are real fun and so on.

Just thought I'd bring this post back to life. I've been building a 1500+ IG army for a long time and have just gotten in to the gaming side of 40k. Still interested in meeting some local 40k players and will be stopping by Card Kingdom a couple times today. Have not played since 2nd edition and don't have a full army built up for a game yet, so looking more for a game to watch and to meet some players.
