Eumerin wrote:What's with the vomit? Seriously. I understand that it's supposed to be some sort of weird creature. So while the hands on the back of it are weird. they're still understandable. The sculptor just wanted to make it look weird. But what's up with the thing spewing vomit all over one of the female attendents?

You have any babies to see IRL? You'll find out why.

I've been around a LOT of babies. They spit up a lot (particularly if you don't burp them). But they very rarely actually vomit like that thing's doing.

Besides... both the teeth and the... solids... in the vomit suggest that thing isn't getting a liquid diet...

Not really sure of what to make of the sunstalker infant.

It's amazing that all that sculpting skill and ability managed to make something like that, which simply makes no sense and holds no appeal. All of the humanoids are top shelf, and parts of the monster are. The coats of arms are poorly done as are parts of the rest. The wet nurse was weird and gross but also kind of awesome, this is not.

I would definitely like to see the females purchasable seperately.

6th edition lands on June 23rd!

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

It's funny I think in some ways this miniature (perhaps not the attendants, who are a little bit anime) is more of a reflection of 40k/WFB 'chaos' than pretty much anything with skulls and spikes that GW has released in at least the last decade or so.

Completely oddball, not really explainable, but intriguing.
