First impression was the classic arcade "space invaders", those ships jus zooming down slow untill they kill you.

But now, look at the base! waterlilly pond? what the heck was the Space Wolf doing by a waterlilly pond?!

Peeing in it, of course.

It's a flip-up with a nozzle.

I'm curious how you managed to glue that thing and stop it from tipping over...Unless it's attached to the table.

The right leg is kinda off for the pose, sorta looks like he's standing in midair like an old 8-bit videogame sprite. Other than that it's hilarious and the lilly pond is great

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

Ok, so during a recent game, a friend who shall not be named dropped this model and shattered it into several pieces. After rupturing his spleen for that outrage, I decided to remodel the Crisis Suit a little bit, and here are the results.

Kudos to you good sir!

its the fact that its head in't staring ant the SM, its turned towards it, but not looking down. makes it look like it didn't see the SM untill it stepped on it.

Thank you for sharing your work! I recently started getting interested in Tau and I think that the suits should be a bit more dynamic (makes the army look more dangerous as well)!

I have recently started a Tau army and I would like to have a crisis team with flamers that is all in Kung Fu poses and brings the fight to the enemy! This is the first prototype that I have posed so far:

Origional pose almost looked like the SW was tossing the tau into the air. Need a cheer captain model and you could say they were doing their cheer drills

Awesome painting though.

I like the re-posiiton, I think it makes the motion look much more realistic.

As a side note, how did you do that AWESOME base? Those lily pads are dynamite! And it doesnt look like you used any water effects, but you still managed to get a watery look. Would you share your secrets on that?

That base, man... It's excellent. How'd you do the pond lillies?

Looks much better with the change. Looks actually dynamic now rather then like you glued a marine to the foot of a normal suit. Now he looks like he is ready for business.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
It might look even better if the arms were reversed with the left arm pointed at the victim and the right up in the are if you make another one. Then you could drill a hole right through the head of the marine to show how dead he is.
