I'd say Life and Light. Empire soldiers really needs their buffs to be competitive.

Passive. Yes but it can turn a Normal unit to a very good Anvil Unit. Though, Spell 6 from life is pretty good.

Metal is very hit and miss. It is good against some armies and bad against others. Shadows is ok, but it is more of an offensive lore and it doesn't really suit the horde element of Empire.

I meant for the debuffs shadow gives. The Empire doesn't need to be stronger if the enemy is weaker.

I dont see shadow very offensive since its a lot about debuffing and buffing. But mindrazored empire hordes are decent.

Offensive lores in general supplement gunline empires very well. My favorite is light though; it brings synergy with the altar, additional firepower and ok buffs/debuffs. I appreciate the utility of it in an empire army.

True but debuffing enemies seems to be a tatic which is more suited to DE and HE than Empire.

Fair point. How is Heavens, it seems to have a solid mix of offense and buffs?

I believe it is good for a gunline Empire Army becuase you can push troops back but not for a normal one.

Heavens is one lore that I have found to be very niche, but if you fit Heavens can be your best friend
