@Melissa Fair enough, misread/confused No biggie. You are totally right that a prosecutor *should* be above frivolous nonsense like this which is the basis for the suit against her. Otherwise she would be immune. The problem I have is that I agree that the plaintiff should win thier lawsuit against the DA, and the sex offense case should be dismissed by the prosecuters office( preferably by the new DA) I just don't want the plaintiff to get 12 million dollars from the city/county, they should get thier lawyers bills plus a small settlement, not anything approaching millions.

Doubt a small amount...this is a "payday" for the family of the kid. I think there's probaly some influence on the parents decision do to to the DA being fimiliar to the judge. How the DA is view in that in area is another factor.

Yeah I doubt it to, there is too much of an association of money with justice in the legal system now, elsewise those sleezy personal injury lawyers wouldnt have tv spots.

True. Also I have notice the increase in the TV ads. Basically I googled every freaking drugs I'm on and some were good...and some were...addictive good.

This would make me lose my faith in humanity if i hadnt already lost it.
Cant say that i remember playing doctor in primary school but that was probably because i was a bit of a loner back then. But i do know that it was a common lunch time activity and not once was it ever an issue. Sad to see that this is the state of things.

This... this is horrible. At that age it's normal for these things to happen. It's the exception for this _not_ to happen at these ages. To charge them for this... and for the poor kid to go on the sex offender's list for the rest of his life becuase of it? feth that. Imagine trying to explain it to your future employers.
