I saw that mini after I tried the mini search, but if I could I would rather use the other one.
If it is not showing up it might be discontinued or something, but hopefully someone will know the name of the mini.
If I still have no Idea, in the morning I might send an Email to Reaper asking the name of the mini.

i guess these guys will be very helpful... i have a god feeling about them...not suited on anything special just a general good feel^^

Ich weiss nicht viel doch. Es ist Dasein geplant während den Ferien. Ich werde wissen hinter dann.

And Australia to Germany can't be that long of a trip. I have flown from South Africa to Australia and from Britain to South Africa before which lasted around 16 hours or more both times, can't remember exactly. Australia to Germany can't be that much longer.
As long as you can sleep on a plane and you have in flight entertainment, flying is not so bad

Ok I have decided to base my Warboss of the similar looking Reaper lab mutant.



Here is a quick paint draw up. I might even keep the Mohawk!

and i think that is a very good mock up of things to come... that model is full of win! i think it will work out awsome! the mohawk is beside the bulging hulking muscles the major selling atribute of that model... a simple steel chin with teeth and you already have the warboss look covered quite good... the rest is just for show

well as i have never been on a plane i am not really sure if i could stand 16 hours in that small bathing tube of a vehicle... but then agin i think if you took the other trips well enough...^^ and if you are able to sleep there...the hours will literally fly by^^
and where to will you be traveling?

Microsoft paint is great! I liked the previous versions better though. The one with windows 7 is not that great.

argh.... now ...well... why decide... if you have the founds... then i´d say go for both^^ i think the mohawked one is for my taste the cooler version but that is just me... beside i get wonderful Mr. T feel from that hairdo^^

i really think if you are up to a bit of sawing and resculpting later on then go for both and make them two siblings... that would be a nice set... with some cool rules to go with...

I was thinking of buying both, but then I found some other awesome minis from Reaper that I wanted to buy too. I think now I have decided to get the one with the mohawk. I didn't like it as much at the start, but it has kind of grown on me. As for the Mr T look, never thought of that before. Maybe I can make a warboss Mr T.

This is something else I considered buying with my christmas money! It made me LoL.

well... you must admit a MR.T warboss... how much more badassery and win could you put into a mini?^^

as for the A-team... it is soething that is totally without use for a game of 40k but one of the things a horder just has to have i guess^^...besides it could be used as a stand in for the last chancers of col. shafer... of the IG.... very fitting for them...

The more I say it the more I like the Idea... At the very least I could make Mr T a Marbo for IG or something...

Maybe special rules could be written for an A-team in IG, I could convert an IG squad! After I have finished this of course.

As for the paint triads I got; Brilliant Green triad, Silver-toned Metal triad and a Gold toned metal triad.

The first mini I just got because it's an awesomne looking mini and the second one looks like he could make a great Space Marine.

yeah the first one looks very beautiful... the second one truly could work great as a SM character...just add powerbackpack and you are set!

and an eagle alsways comes in handy i guess...

are they any good? i see they are dropper bottles... i think one day i should move onto those than the pots GW sells... they always dry up so fast with me...

Yeah they are dropper bottles. I love and hate dropper bottles because I always pour out too much and end up with excess. I am always scrambling for extra models that need those colours that I've poured out too much of. I have had whole figures painted that way with me dabbing colour on them before the paint dries out. I have heard reaper paints are good, I've never tried them before but I'll see for myself. I have always preferred the GW paint pots, not the new ones the old school ones they were great.

i just have next to all editions on my desk of the GW ones... and there are good ones and really bad ones... sadly the new ones are plain crap... the old ones were decent and keep the paints even opened fresh after about 20 years.... that is telling much! but i thinnk if you reach a certain level of painting then painting straight from a pot is out of the question... that is when dropper bottles comes in handy...

Yeah, I have just traded some old M:tG cards for about 200 dollars worth of Reaper Master Paints. Not really any colors that I think I will need a lot but it is a good start considering I had absolutly none before. I have heard nothing but good things about Reaper. Problem is I still don't know if I will be any good at painting and maybe I should go with Testors cheapo car paints until I learn how to do it. LOL

But just getting back from christmas break and seeing the A-team Warboss!! Dude, Loving it. I think the Mohawk is best but the bald one is cool, too. Can't wait to see the warboss when it is done and hopint the WIP is detailed. Love Orks, My buddy plays them almost exclusively and really want to scratch out some heavy armor my way for his army.

@Vik- I agree with you 100% the old GW Paints were awesome I still have some of those pots which have lasted me 6 almost 7 years! However you can see the difference with the dropper paints which are eaiser to mix thin and airbrush, so you can achieve different things with them.

@mxwllmdr- Thanks man. Good to hear some one else saying good things about reaper paints as I just bought a whole bunch. And if your not so good at painting just keep practising. I have just been cleaning out my cupboard and I saw all my old marines which were painted with the feverish excitement of a ten year old... needless to say they do not look so great.

Those were painted 6 years ago and I can see the progress I have made and how much my painting has improved. So If your not great at painting first time round just keep painting. No one becomes a 'Eavy Metal' painter overnight. And even if you are one you there are many things you could still learn.

And he's not an A- Team Warboss, he is based off the Warboss from the game 'Space Marine'.... But maybe he could be an A-Team Warboss... I could make a Nob Squad with all the members of the A-team in it...MUST RESITS URGE TO DO SO.

I think it is fantastic to think that Chinese made segways survived tens of thousands of years only to fall into the hands of an Ork Warband.

This is so cool, I have considered nicking the idea for a Chaos Army Segway cult. Would that be uncool of me to do?

i highly doubt that if that would be uncool...hilarious...yes...uncool for nicking...no way...after all you would have to make a non orky version... which would be an entirely new thing...
