Procrastinating.

If I had to choose a battle, as ME in it I would choose Armageddon as a guardsman( lots places to hide( take cover I mean ) or if I was a member of the race in question, an ork( no specified battle because the universe is a battle for the orks )

I'd want to take part in the war for prospero on the side of the Thousand sons.
Why? Because Magic vs pure ferocity just sounds awesome.
And I just hate space wolves, and love thousand sons!

Your turn!

Umm if you hate the Space Wolves then maybe that's not the best battle to participate in...-

A Space Marine during the Nimbosa Crusade. Time to kick Tau ass...

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.

Well if I were able to choose from the Horus Heresy I'd be Guardsman Ollanius Pius - see if I have the balls to stand in the way of Horus for the Emperor.

But for the 41st Millenium? I'd probably go with being an Ork during the Second War for Armageddon, and why not? Big fight against the respected humie Commissar Yarrick - what more could an Ork ask for?

To be fair guardsman really dont have an option.. fight or die are the only things really in 40k.. If they dont fight theyd just get chased down anyway.

A Black Templar on orbital station or Ultramarine Terminator on ground ?

Either. The Black Templars demonstrate the Tau's complete weakness in close combat (not to mention their cowardice for disdaining it instead of trying to improve on it), while the Ultramarines show that even in ranged, properly-led Astartes can defeat the Tau. The only things I see that can fight Astartes on even terms (or something close to it) are CSM and Aspect Warriors.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race.
