which war/battle would you want to take part in? and why?
I'll start..
I'd want to take part in the war for prospero on the side of the Thousand sons.
Why? Because Magic vs pure ferocity just sounds awesome.
And I just hate space wolves, and love thousand sons!

Umm if you hate the Space Wolves then maybe that's not the best battle to participate in...
And I'm not sure why any of us would want to take part in a 40k battle in person...

A DE Kabalite Warrior in any of their campaigns. Given how well-planned these are and how they often go at targets which can't defend themselves, very low chance of death. Moreover even if you're blown to bits, a Haemonculus can bring you back as long as you have a contract with him beforehand. And since it's DE, it also means lots of pillaging and sex/drugs/rock & roll.
