But your reasoning for improving the profile is at fault. Like for the reason I mentioned above, regarding the RT Inquisitors being the same statistically as Custodes - you're basing this on an outdated, retconned system. Aside the Custodes having rules in 2E (mixed up?) you also keep on unfairly deducing that Grey Knights had a marine stat-line in RT. The Grey Knights in RT (the proper ones in TDA with Nemesis Force Weapons that had models, not rubbish bolter version printed within Slaves of Darkness) had the same WS/BS/I values as Custodes and higher leadership values. (RT Compilation, page 8)

Grey Knights are the closest to Custodes & I plan on using that codex of course....But Custodes are a tad better then GKs....

Written where exactly? There's no official source that's fully compared the two, let alone in a fight.

EDIT - Limited reply, straying off topic.

You probably need to rethink your strategy and do a little more research on the matter. As others have suggested, the bigger differences between Custodes and Grey Knights would probably lie in some of the special rules and the wargear instead.

Besides having the same name for stats, stat lines mean entirely different things to the game than they did then.

Uh? Ludicrous? Hm.

Yes, ludicrous.

WS, I, and A function entirely differently now. BS is mostly different. The differences between raising those one point then is not the same as raising them one point now.

You're also missing the point that Grey Knights and Custodes had the same statline (except for four leadership stats). Yet you think Custodes now should have higher stats than Grey Knights now.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

When people ask, "What's the point in understanding everything?" they've just disqualified themselves from using questions and should disappear in a puff of paradox. But they don't understand and just continue existing, which are also their only two strategies for life.
