My faves are all of the figs that have greens and browns. Orrik and Rovissi are really nice.

Why is there a green line on the base of the WoldWyrd?

EDIT: Forgot to add that you have great taste in minis.

Nice to see the cannon has some crew now, interesting to see a lot of green on them, not a look I've seen a lot - although I tend not to look at so much fantasy stuff these days.

Latest batch are all pretty cool, standouts for me are Gudrun and the Woldwyrd, plus the ragman for the use of purple and the fact I've not seen him before.

The green line is there to indicate where the front arc is for the Woldwyrd - facing being quite important in Warmachine & Hordes. The judgement in the rulebook is that you go off the models shoulders, but you can use the alternative of a set of marks on the base.

The purple on ragman is a nice color for that model.

I myself don't like base front arcs. However, I realize they have
their uses. I just don't like how they look.

I get where you're coming from on the arc markings, and these Circle models are the first time I've made use of them. As long as they're accurate (and I'm using the YoungWolf7 template), then they should help solve potential disputes on the tabletop.

That is a nice and shiny thunderhead Dysartes. I agree that the main carapace could use another coat of white, but otherwise top notch painting. I have been delaying painting my thead for a while now, but seeing your's might have pushed me to start working on it. It is one of the best looking jacks.

I like your thunderhead's blue. It's a very vivid shade. I like the brass as well, but I feel it could use some more selective shading to make it pop.
I guess your filthy trollblood is painted nicely too. Shame that effort wasn't put into more loyal cygnarans

Aye - I was right at the deadline for the painting event I'm running, and that one coat of Menoth white Highlight was enough for it to be tabletop-ready. He'll get another coat to smooth things out before I use him at the ETC.

In terms of more loyal Cygnarans, I've got the Black 13th, ATGM, ATGM UA, original pNemo and eNemo on my WIP list at the minute - oh, and a unit of ten Longgunners.

Because I've never been able to paint 'em decently - the closest I think I've gotten is on Inquisitor Gideon Lorr (who I'm trying to polish off now), and even then you can't really see the eye for the hat.

eyeballs are V small after all - like trying to thread a needle but getting it perfect first time every time.

I love those turquoise coils on the big roboty dude - they speak to me of infernal energies and surging power and stuff

I use a micron pen for that kind of thing as it has more control than a brush. It works pretty well. just remember to write lightly so the lines aren't too thick.

I've done a quick count of completed urban IG - I've got 5 command staff (3 officers, 2 Commissars), but only 13 grunts done so far. Methinks I should get back to the Tallarn in my case which have been WIP since October,

You must have dozens of warjacks by now - at some point a group shot is called for.

Stuffs lookin great!

I love the metals on Murdoch, especially the ones around his legs. Nice and bright but still with plenty of contrast.

Those stones are really cool too, nice job ob the detailing around the green parts.

Thanks Ifalna - would you believe those kneeguards are two coats of Gryphonne Sepia over Chainmail?

The detailing was a bit of a pain on the Shifting Stones - but not as much as on the Sentry Stone, which I haven't quite finished yet.

Made use of the techniques Ifalna covered in her GIMP tutorial video to try and present my work better - looks like I need to tighten up slightly on extraneous white pixels slightly. Other than that, what do you think?

Murdoch was very cool Dysartes, and I really like the shifting stones too.

Engineer looks great, and definitely pops against the background now. As you say, a few touches of white, but not overly distracting, good job.
