Well, first you need to understand that the internet and real world aren't the same in that on the internet posting such an idea would be met with a wall of uppercase rage. If you did it with someone in person who felt the same, they would simply shake their head and worst case scenario not play you.
If you went to a FLGS and ran a MLP army, and the person in front of you started screaming profanity and general expressing angst in ones hindquarters, it begs the question. Which of the two, being him and you, has the bigger personal issues that need sorting out?
I think it's a great idea, but my personal degree of manliness would dictate that I would be the guy who doesn't play you, but secretly thinks your army is pretty effin cool. Nothing personal, I just can't be seen in public associating with such things.

EDIT: I think the OP's tanks should have the branding marks... whatever the show refers to them as... on their rear flanks.

Generally it's a well executed girls show that proved that if the quality is high enough even a girls show can appeal to boys too. I really don't get the angle some people play in regards to not wanting to watch it but not understand why it's popular. If you watch the show and you don't like it, well there you go, you no longer have to wonder about it. If you watch it and you like it, congrats, you found something else that adds joy to your life. Neither situation ends poorly.
Seriously guys, being too much of a guy to watch mlp is just like saying your too much of a normal person to not invest time in trying out d&d or playing video games. At the end of the day you're just depriving yourself of something that you might end up enjoying. If you watch the show, you like it, but fear for your precious image, come play paintball with me and take a shot to the neck and keep on playing. You'll be pretty manly in my book

Because I'm 35 years old and have absolutely zero interest in watching a cartoon for girls. In fact, I have less than zero interest. My interest level is rated somewhere in the negative thousands of Give-A-Gaks. In fact, I could not possibly Give-A-Gak less about watching MLP. I have reached True Absolute Zero on the Give-A-Gak scale.

LOl i just started watching the first MLP episode and found it not half bad. It makes no sense that they were being pulled in a carriage by other horses though. The funniest but was that the old granny had a hot pie on her ass

There's three kinds of ponies.
Unicorns, Earth Ponies, and the Pegsus's.
Rainbow Dash, the Space Marined pony in the picture is a pegasus, so she only has wings, which makes sense to paint her as a Assault Marine.
