Its interesting to that the player who won the 4 and 2 bracket ended with like 72 points when I heard him check his score and the winner had 74. I dunno how they got so many points so I am just as curious.

Wow. Can't believe you won with Tremorcrons. I've been playing with them recently and found that they struggle more than my wraithwing against the better armies. Of course I don't really run either Immo or Orikan, but I am still experimenting with them.
Well done on the wins with a necron build that really isn't their best.
With all do respect your tremorcrons build has had an inherent flaw which Hans has corrected. IMO combing av13 assault with the movement denial of tremorcrons tugs the army in two different directions. This list synergizes better with denying the enemy a movement phase.
No worries. Yeah, my list isn't very optimized. It actually wasn't very good, but I just wanted to try out some units that I actually have rather than to proxy units for a more optimal build. It will "evolve" in time.

My names Greg. I'm the guy who ran the spreadsheets at the Open.
The RenMan when to a player with 74 points. He went 5 and 1 with 29 battle points, 39 from painting, and 6 from sports. The player who came in with 72 points went 4 and 2 with 26 battle points, 40 painting points, and 6 from sports.

So he did win his last game That explains that. And I think I also got the wrong number when I asked as I was told 62 which would have only been my battle and paint combined, not sports
Basically why I was waiting for the final sheets before truly trying to figure stuff out

Figured it would of been hard for a 4 and 2 to reach 74. So he did go 5 and 1. That leaves the statistics as such:
Necrons 6-0
GK 5-1
GK 5-1
GK 5-1
IG 5-1
I guess no real army surprises there. I will still honestly surprised that Tau and Tyranids were not represented. There is usually at least one out there. Are you all going to be posting the complete rankings somewhere as I failed to get the forum/space you all frequent on the net before leaving. Dropped mine www.frostreaver.net but unfortunately did not catch yours.

I can't provide any overall codex performance because I was never given a list to match codex to player names, but there where two Necron armies in the top 4.
I don't want to post everyone's names on the internet without their permission. If you have specific questions about your score, I can give you that. Just provide me with your real name or player number.
A few of the better local players where involved in running the Open. Had they played, you would probably see a few different armies in the top 8.
Most of the organizers post at http://theback40k.blogspot.com. My blog is http://blameitonthedice.blogspot.com/. I'm leaving it for the others to post the whole results.

My hat is off and tipped to you and your friends who ran this event and chose not to play. It sounds like it was a truly great event. Hopefully next year I'll be able to make it out. I think you did a great job and I won't forget.
