Your forgetting that the real vets, played the games before AC4.
AC4 really introduced the massive speed increase in the franchise.
Though this one looks to be around the slowest one yet.
As for vet builds? All you need is grenade cannons, huzzah! Besides, the decrease in speed makes the reverse joint legs jumping boost a big boon again, like it was in older games. Which I love.
In the end, I'll be spending more time in my garage then playing, like with all these games.
Hope they increased the fine tuning even more.

Yeah I agree, and that was my point, AC4 upped it to the highest levels. Personaly, I loved it. My gaming background being competitive clan play with UT2k4 at 1.25 speed, I'm a speed junky when it comes to my action.
That said, I'm equally in love with tactical games, so either way, I win.
TBH, I'll enjoy a return to the earlier style of more tactical gameplay.
NEXTs were kinda huge, fun though, and ACFA especially was REALLY fast paced. Being able to float above the battlefield among the clowds then dive on targets with my moonlights, drifting back into the heavens is really cool mind :3
I mean, being able to sneak around and ninjastab folk will be nice too. Maybe having pistols be more than a simple backup and be useful (easier to use in close quarters etc)
I have a thing for stabbing/cc with mechs, the ridiculousness of it is great.
I rather lack friends that are interested in this game and I really want to get the most out of the MP. Cause I'll probably S rank every SP mission in the first week or two... like I did in the last two games.
Haha, not gonna happen. The only PS3 exclusive that I actually would want is the new Twisted metal. Grew up with those games.
And will offcourse be playing this on Hard difficulty from the get go. Found normal to be rather lackluster, never had to even look at my healthbar what with dodging AND parrying at the press of a button.

I would get it in a heartbeat if I had money. We will see when it comes out.

If I sell what I plan to sell though.. may go for a live sub again, some games I want on their market place.

I never played Armoured Core 4, but I played the other ones. Heavily enjoyed them, prefer close up mech fights with submachineguns.

GK are being sold. I have bought Gold time, a headset and Iron Brigade, and am now waiting for Armoured Core V.
That is of course, if my live doesn't keep dropping at random.

Any idea why it would do that? Seems completely random, can take a long time/short time to DC, can't connect to router after unless I restart xbox. No idea why.

Mhm... gakky cable? Conflicting IP adresses could actually be a big part of it, if you have multiple machines on your router, it may be assigning the same IP adress to more then 1 machine, thusly disconnecting one untill it get's an entirely new request. Changing your router to static IP adresses should fix this. (I've had this problem myself).
