7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

What most people do not realize is that it is not the terminator you need to worry about. Its the Psyker standing next to the terminator.

Silly. Sororitas of the Ecclesiarchy aren't psykers - note the fleur- de-lis tattoo on her cheek and her haircut.
Also, I like the picture. ^_^ I've seen similar ones before, and they're heartwarming. ^_^ It's nice of that Terminator to escort her around. Maybe it's part of a Big Brother program - Sororitas tend to be orphans.

This picture could inspire a movie.
He was a terminator with nothing but hate.
*cut to close up* "PURGE THE WITCH!"
She was a child without a family to watch over her.
*cut to little girl in front of termie* "Mommy was eaten by tyranids and daddy fell to chaos."
Together they find out what it means to love.
*cut to little girl riding on termie* "Weeeeeee!" "...and then brother Andrius says 'And that's how you make a carnifex fly!' We laughed. Then a genestealer ripped off his legs."
From Steven Spielberg
*cut to little girl being driven off in a rhino while the Marine stays behind* "TERMIIIIIIEEEEEEE!"

I don't know. I take the picture pretty literally. The world of 40k is pretty grimdark, but the grimdark gets stupid if you don't imagine at east the occasional tiny speck of light. And doesn't the background material on the Astartes say that many of them remember, with humility, that they were once humans, and that humans are the people they were created to protect? Certainly you have the occasional space marine who would go out of his way to lead children to safety, and so on. You probably also have lots who'd leave them to die, or kill them himself to save them from blasphemy, but there's no reason that would be all of them.

Not all SM see themselves as protecters of humanity. Some seek only the glory of war whle other seek only to purge the enemy with no regard for casulties.
