By deed part do you mean the purity seal over where the hole was? I agree, the whole hand is kind of a mess. I'm gonna be building something around it/over the hand to make it look better, these pics are for some C&C to make sure Im heading in a good direction.

Ive been caught up with other projects and school, but expect more updates soon, as I get back to painting more CF's.

as of right now I started another project, here is a nearly finished wip of the first of my paladins




tell me how I did

my up and coming painting goals for after I finish the paladin:
finish my two other GMS models to be sent, another CF and an =][= aide
paint my MoTF
finish the other 4 members of the assault squad
(get Pedro Kantor's head/ make another one for him, then) paint the boss man himself

I like the Paladin, that red armour looks fantastic.
I also like the GMS marine.

Finished another GMS marine






and I've stripped one of the old metal vets, (one of my favorites, its the beaky one with the chainsword in the right hand)

and he will be painted up soon. Also, I had an idea to finish off my MoTF and then I'll be able to paint him up.

Hey all, quick update. This one is just a finished GMS marine again, but this is the calm before the storm. as my graduation nears, I will be able to paint way more, and Ive already started painting the first tac squad. No shots of them of the wip vet yet, but heres this fist. C&C welcome

I was greatly inspired by Veteran Sergeant's p&m blog http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/437416.page for my marines. I thought it was smart to have all the marines be geared up, so I added tons of pouches and redid the poses on most of the members of the tac squad (which is why some are painted, some have bare plastic, etc) I also took the idea of the wrist mounted auspex, because I thought it was awesome, and that the normal one is too big

Painting has been going slow due to general lack of time, but the highlighting step has been reached, so soon I will have pics.

Small news, Im going home from college for the weekend and moving back with my Fists and paint, so hopefully updates will start up again.

I love the Missile Launcher Devvy checking his wrist-mounted PDA thing, it looks as if he's locking onto a target, or checking his robo-eye thing on his helmet to see if it works, your army seems to have a really active look to it, everyone is doing something, it doesn't look like any model is just stood there stationary, like every tac marine ever -_- Well done!

are all the marines supposed to be first company veterans including the scouts cos if not they should only have the right hand painted.
