Mass produced American beer is pretty garbage actually. But there are so many good craft beers right now. I used to think I didn't like beer only Guinness, in the last ten years my opinion has changed incredibly with the improved quality of domestic beers available.

This may be the best stuff on earth.

The only thing we know about Aussie beer is fosters. Which is nothing special. I like to say "Fosters it's Australian for Budweiser"

Why would you melt cheese on top of bacon?

I get wrapping chook in bacon - it prevents it drying out (same reason you do it to Turkey - to stop it turning into boot leather).

Yes, it's an international slur. Lighten up.
Like "soap dodging brits" and "polite canadians", Aussies who ride kangaroos to work across the coathanger and other myths.

The view's so much better up here on my high kangaroo.

dump it.

some foods are really easy to make Fried rice is extremely easy.
Get a frying pan.
Get rice put in rice cooker. (one of the best investments of all time!) (Rice takes long.)
place rice after cooked into frying pan, and then make middle part open it up crack eggs on measures , dump yolk in cup beat it and then make a hole in the middle of the rice. add Soy sauce and fish sauce (to off balance the salty soy sauce)
Then put bacon + chicken + any vegetable you want cut the vegetables up.
Then there you go in 30 minutes you have a meal. You can also do this with curry. except minus the fish sauce but instead add coconut milk.

I believe so. I love both of those things.
Plus I wrote that down because other dakknauts might want to try that.

I know recipes because half my Family are a bunch of cooks. Needless to say we have a few family recipes which easily make mockery of store purchases.

sadly for miso i can only find soup recipes....

So as I said before I made this for dinner. The following is a short review:

It was awesome!

Now for the details:

I cut the chicken into 3 inch cutlets and wrapped each with enough bacon to cover all the chicken, typically 2 slices. I baked them in the oven at 400 degrees until the chicken was almost done then broiled to crisp the bacon. I used some hickory BBQ sauce and it was good.

Pictures will come of the finished bacon wrapped taco seasoned chicken pieces soon, just gotta load them onto my laptop since our desktop with the sd card reader had the power supply catch on fire..

I would recommend this to people not on a diet who are feeling like trying something different.

Cheese and bacon, with nothing else (of a solid nature) is pretty awful.

Bacon cheeseburger = delicious.

Bacon and cheese = disgusting, greasy mess unless the cheese is not melted over the bacon.

I haven't seen Fosters for sale here in a decade. It's our export for silly homesick ex-pats who don't know better.

Contrary to what Paul Hogan had to say about it " it tastes like an angel, ******* on your tongue" - he isn't referring to 'crying'.
Other than that, yeah, it's our equivalent of Bud. Without the penguin or frog adverts.

Speaking of hamburgers and bacon and cheese, anyone have a sunny side up egg on a bacon cheeseburger? Those, while probably slowly killing you, are the most fantastic burgers ever made on this planet

I had something similar whilst living in New Zealand. Walking into a McDonalds for the first time out there, I was surprised to see they were selling a Kiwi Burger, which contained the usual quarter pounder but with a fried egg and, bizarrely, beetroot. It was quite tasty.

Yep, there is a place in Cleveland called the reddstone that does this. I've traveled a lot and I can honestly say "Best burgers ever". Unfortunately they have changed ownership recently......I hope they keep the burgers the same

I think you would be a fan of a Hawaiian dish called 'LocoMoco'. It's a burger patty over steamed rice, topped with a fried egg and smothered in brown beef gravy.

Those will kill you, and they are delicious.

I have, but there's a big difference between cheese containing bacon (Baconjack is what I had.) and a lattice of bacon with cheese melted on top.

MMMM smoked Cheddar with bacon in it. Yes the bacon weave didn't look so appealing to me either, as I wish to stay away from hospitals, but I bet it tasted great. Bacon, beer cheese for dipping is ridiculously good.
