Stay in your batmobiles.

If you took say 3 trukk shoota boyz squads with big shootas, I reckon that is 152 so 456
Then buggies, mostly rockets, say 6 for 210.

He would really struggle as he has to run across the field and then get into into cc to do any damage to you. Even then av10 is really tricky for him.
Now Ymgarls will be well positioned but you should have a good number of turns of firing to have fun.

St8 is great against the prime and to instant kill warriors, so the koptas will be looking good.

If you let the koptas get into cc then you deserve to devote your life to crime fighting, it is like letting a criminal kill your uncle when you could have stopped it, stopped it by moving the koptas to 24'' and 18'' away. Koptas will just die in cc, in fact they will not be so great standing up to their small firepower.

Good luck

So... Batman beat the webs off of that Spiderman!!! I made some adjustments because i miscalculated the cost of my meganobz... so I dropped 2 of the koptas.

I wish I could make a battle report.. but, this will have to do....
The Batman won the roll-off and decided to let the Spiderman deploy first. He put his 16xTermagants w/ devourers in a line behind a forest, with the 16x Hormagaunts directly behind them with 3 Warriors behind them and 1 Prime w/ boneswords behind them.

I lined the Meganobz/Warboss right in front of them, with the Defkopta to the Right, behind cover and the boys in the middle of the field, far from the range of the devourers and in front of a ruined 3-story building (which turned out to be where his Genestealers were hiding but didn't get to come out until the 4th turn). Snikrot and the Kommandos hung in reserve awaiting the destruction of the Prime and warrior unit.

He had to move through cover a lot and was at the mercy of moving the Termagaunts forward and everyone else had to go at that pace (despite having move through cover with the Hormagaunts). He tried to use the barbstrangler in the first turn but didn't get any wounds. My Deffkopta took out a Termagaunt and hid in cover.

He brought the raveners in by deep strike directly in front of my meganobz.. WOO HOO!! and shot down my Deffkopta. he shot at my nobz with devourers but inflicted no wounds. I got the Kommandos out of reserve and put them about 1 inch from his Warrior unit. I used 2 kombi-skorchas to wound 2 of his raveners. My big shootas from the boys lit up the termagaunts taking a few out. Then the kommandos burned and shot with no wounds on his Warriors. The meganobz assault the raveners and demolished the raveners with a massacre (I took 1 wound). Snikrots assault ended up 5 to 5 and stayed in combat.

He tried to bring the Ymgrl Genestealers out but they didn't roll high enough. He moved up with the terms and turned the horms around to assault Snikrot. He shot and assaulted. I killed all but two of the termagaunts (they ran away). Snikrot's unit lost conbat on that one... by a lot... and they all were chased down and killed. My meganobz were close enought to charge his Hormagaunts And they were massacred and I attempted to drop back out of the forest to get enough distance that he might not be able to charge me with the warriors...

He finally gets his Genestealers out and they pop up in the ruins that my boys are directly in front of (I still had all but 1 boy left in the 21 Ork unit). He moves and charges to my meganboz with his warriors and the two remaining terms. He charges out of cover to attack my boys. The Terms get killed, his warriors and prime get killed. and he takes out all 5 of my meganobz.. but leaves the Warboss unharmed. I get to attack first with my boyz since he came out of cover and I demolish all but two of the 8 genestealers... he kills a couple but I win overall. We end up staying in combat.. and he dies the next round...

The end.. ORKS (and The Dark Knight) win!!!

If you want TL-Rokkits, save yourself 10 points a pop for rokkit buggies, that survive small arms fire and term/horm melee better than koptas.

Lootas fare well against MC's, but I wouldn't rely heavily on large squads. Nids cover ground so quickly they make me want to invest in depends.

Gangsta. It's gangsta, and you know what gangsta is? Gangsta is driving two battlewagons up to a demon prince and unloading sluggas until he dies That's gangsta style!(and no drinking tea with the pinky extended)

Oldest ork advice: Need more boyz!

Enjoy, and remember something: You SHOULD get one phase of shooting in with shootas.....templates....well, I normally play mechanized orks and my opponents don't get template weapon hits on me. MANZ should be mechanized, but if you do that, you're better off with the entire army mechanized.
