Great army, I was thinking of going to use white on my neurons but I was unsure how it looks. A few questions, which jump to mind. How did you get the flakey paint? Did you basecoat in white. Where did you get the bases from?

The paint chips are sponged on khemri brown and Charadon granite.
I always, always basecoat everything I'm black.

The bases are from the necron range from a company called something like basex-of-war.

Wow @ proximity. Great stuff for 6 days. Great stuff for any amount of days actually.lol. The vehicles looks great. The regular guys are decent, I can see how those were done quickly, but the vehicles I'm just like wow. Anyways dude I can see your a pretty darn good painter to begin with. I am a good painter too, I just recently did a beatmen Minotaur to the best of my standards, which is pretty good and it took me 2 full days. Couldnt imagine speed painting for 6 days straight. OMG .lol.

Great army, quality looks like it took you a lot longer than a week to paint. Very cool

Loving your OSL work here, very well done and also a very suitable method for doing Necros. Exalted.

I'm going to start repainting my sisters of battle and I'm definitely going to be stealing your technique for the weathering on white. I love it.

Wow, this is the first necron army that I actually like. For an army that begs to be sloppily painted with boltgun and called good enough, you've really done nice work on these.

How did you do the weathering?

That is a great weathered look you have there .

The only poorly painted miniature is the one that is not painted.
