I think lots of people would like a collection of well-written and well-photographed quality articles and tutorials put together in a nicely desiged package, rather than having to sift through the 'I only have my crappy phone camera so deal with it' chaff every time.

Also I suspect it will be a great help to newcomers who do not yet know the way to all the gems buried out there.

I was going to mention Wargames Illustrated as well. I think there is definitely room in the marketplace for a well written wargaming magazine that focuses on fantasy/sci-fi from multiple gaming systems (we already have Wargames Illustrated for Historical games). In fact, a role that WD once filled, but has long since vacated.

Anyone own a publishing company and would like to give it a go?

I don't want multiple gaming systems :( I may be young and ig'nant, but I can't see anything prizing me away from 40k, at least at 28mm scale.

I've got an army for RapidFire painted up and some Infinity minis, but the former is suffering from a dire lack of terrain (and I shan't play it until I have some ) and the latter from the fact that nobody plays it.

Well i have not bought it for a long time now, and everytime i look at it in the store, theres never anything to draw me in as there used to be, yes we get new rules and lists, but only once a blue moon is it something i would actualy use, i too agree that the internet has taken its place, but thats no excuse for just releasing a glorified catalogue, White dwarf went downhill long before the internet.
Also i cant see where all the LOTR hate comes from, I have never played it and unless a m8 gets into it, i dont plan on playing it, but thats not to say that alot of other people dont want to, it does in fact help draw people into the fantasy gaming market, and that at the end of the day can only be a good thing in my eyes.

Remember when WD used to have articles about making your own terrain for your games. I miss rhose articles so much that i am reading other model magazines to create new terrain pieces. My favourite ones are found in railway magazines (Hornby magaxine does the same as WD but it still gives you modelling articles and its cheaper)

Although i never made one, i remember alot of people did, i always liked the Rhino Converted into a Whirlwind, i do realise however that stuff like this will never grace the pages again.
