Would Telion consider getting lent out to my Gk army for a stint? I'd actually really like that lol. It'd be amazing. I can also put down increased BS for the space monkey henchmen there. It'd be awesome.
Forgot about him,
but he's just got a bolter. Vindicare has his awsome Exitus weapons.

3++ cover 6+FNP is crap against small arms. That's 1/6th tougher than 2 grey hunters, 4 guardsmen in cover, or 3 ork boys in cover. The good news is unless the other side is DE or GK the first couple rounds should be safe from small arms fire.
3++ cover 6+FNP is ok against long ranged firepower. Most long ranged firepower doesn't do a lot of wounds, and it's often mid range str such as AC which really shouldn't be shooting at a vindicare. If it's S8 or higher such as 4 krak missile wounds there is always the option of going to ground.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

This is true. A squad of marines rapid firing at an assassin of any type will down them. But, an assassin is an expendable part of any grey knight army. A glass sword.

agree
I will be happy if my enemy spend some missiles or even lascannons on my vindicare, that means my storm raven and other vehicles are safer

I agree, Assassins are very effective, and very vulnerable to standard small arms fire. With an empty rhino or Chimera lying around, they get a better chance of it. They have their uses, but I rarely use them. Those 150 points can be spent a variety of other ways.

Don't knock the 6+, the number of times its saved my assassins skin at a crucial moment are very memorable.

Of course it would be memorable, your not going to remember the 5 out of 6 times it didn't work, because that is not exciting or unexpected.

Of course I am known for rolling more then my fair share of 6s.
I even let my opponent use my dice, and they roll nothing but 1s

As I run a techmarine in my list, that 3++ cover is often a 2++ whenever I can. That really make a huge difference in how long the Vindicare can survive.
It cute the damage he takes in half and with a 2++ save cover save, people will often not fire at him at all.
I have not found the vindicare to be that efftive when he is shooting at infantry. I have a propensity to not wound with his shield breaker, or the enemy gets a cover save.
Against tanks, he usually does well, as long as there is no cover around.

Vindicare Assassins are awesome. I've got a metal one I've been using since 4e, he turns the tide whenever he's deployed by exploding a Land Raider or dropping heavy weapon infantry/power fists.
From what I know of the rules, the Eversor is pretty useless, the Culexis is only helpful if the other guy is running a really frakking big Seer Council (something you're only going to see in Apocalypse games), and the Callidus is somewhat situational but can be powerful when facing non-elite armies (Guard, Ulthwe Eldar, swarm 'Nid builds, sometimes Orks).

The Eversor is ok as he is, the issue with him is that he really needs a transport. If he can get into combat he eats face.
