There use to be, but not in the newest codex, but I agree.
Also, Dark Angels vs Space Wolves.

1. "Rivalry" is usually something that does not lead to bloodshed. Two marines could be rivals and try to get more kills than the other in each battle.
2. If you mean what the greatest, deepest enmity is, I think this is a rather moot question about a universe where basically everyone is an enemy of everyone else.
3. Why is Chaos too unspecific, but Tyranids is not? Both are factions with exactly one codex.

"We train young men to drop fire on people, but their commanders won't allow them to write "feth" on their airplanes because it's obscene!" (Colonel Kurtz in Apocalypse Now)
And you know what's funny? "feth" is actually censored on a forum about a dystopia where the nice guys are the ones who kill only millions of innocents, not billions. |

1. Ok. If you must get literal.
2. See #1. Plus, the gist of the thread is not "who is angry and has pouty-pants?" I was asking which pair of enemies has the most (in)famous hatred for one another.
3. Because I wasn't talking about Codex or rules. I was talking about the back stories. The 40k universe as delivered to us in literature. The aspect of this game/hobby commonly referred to as 'fluff'.
To answer your question about Chaos and Tyranids, the two are very different. When you say, "Chaos" in reference to 40k, you're referring to the followers under the umbrella of the 4 different deities. Within that umbrella, there are many, many sub-categories: Daemons, Humans, devotees of either of the 4 gods, followers of Undivided, an unknown amount of specific chapters of marines, combinations of those chapters (such as Abaddon's crusade), and the list can likely go on and on.
Tyranids? You have Hive Fleet Kraken and Hive Fleet Leviathan in the lore. The difference between the two is the timeline and geographical locations of their incursions. All Tyranid Hive Fleets are the same. Norn-Queen on down to Ripper.

Other way around mate, BA have a beef with Ka'Bandha, as he was the Bloodthirster that broke Sanguinius' legs at Signus Prime, and also kicked his backside so severely before Sanguinius' fateful meeting with Horus at the siege of Terra. Thus possibly being the spark that set off the Black Rage.

The Thousand Sons and the Space Wolves. The destruction of Prospero was like a giant sucker punch, especially because the Thousand Sons were trying to warn the Emperor.
